Goons threaten me at Uedama (Freighter)

So I just bought a freighter,

Previously I've been carefully reading regarding how to safe fly a freighter, and keep those in minds, Suggestions such as these most important to avoid suicide ganking

- Never auto pilot
- Warp to 0 all the time
- Keep your cargo low
- aiueo etc

BULLSHIT, here I dont even carry cargo worth 50m, (probably around 39m), and yet they want to suicide kill me.

And yes I've read all those thread about suicide ganking at Uedama by Goons, I have to pass this system or I have to take another route which takes me 45 Jump to my destination. I dont want to do 45 Jump with this snail freighter.

Then I arrived on stargate at Uedama. A girl approached me and she said she want to play with my big boy. She then shaked my big boy, bumping it preventing it from warping out. Extorts to pay her 50millions or her fleet will come and squash my big boy. Just the heck I don't have that much money, I just bought this thing for one and half billion. If she just let me pass to my destination and get my things then I might have that money.

There's also other guy beside me riding a Propechy, asking he's going to help me by webbing it for insta warp, to do so he sent me a duel challenge so he dont get popped by concord. Since I never used and dont know this duel ****, I declined, and logged off asap before one of alt in ibis put aggro timer on me for 15 mins and I'll be a dead meat.

I came back with my alt, and look around again, there's also another unfortunate guy getting his big boy shaked by her, a few secs later a group of brutix and talos (around 10 of them) appeared and surrounded him. All of them are goons

I dont really know what happened, that obelisk suddenly gone from the map and these brutix-talos warped out.

My freighter now trapped in here . Now what should I do?

It's a gamble I would not take. Maybe you belive someone in EVE will stay true to thier words but there is nothing preventing them them from blowing you up after you paid. You only really cut down thier loss by paying them.

Goons are trustworthy folk, and the united range far and wide to give hugs and defend freighters...

Or if you want reality don't trust/pay goons they are renowned scammers.

Scammers are currently selling killrights on this toon for up to 5mil, if you have paid for this service demand your money back at once.

Killing me should be for free.

This is exactly why anyone who freighter ganks does it in Uedama or Niarja.

First off, stop calling it your big boy. Unless you plan on telling us where they touched your big boy.

Ignore them. Get an in corp friend to web you.

Honestly I've autopilot end my freighter through there many times over the last year and never even had an issue.

Easiest thing you can do is skill up. Most freighter alts have bad navigation skills making thjeir freighters exceptionally slow on the helm. Skill yourself up and it will make it harder for them to keep you bumped.

Also, do not forget your hull tanking, shield tanking and armor tanking skills. And skill hardwires for even more buffer. So if it does come to gank time, it is more difficult and expensive for the gankers.

If they want to pop you in a freighter they can. But you don't have to make it easy.

if you load is small enough to fit in to an industrial, use it. dont waste your time by flying a small load in a big ship. unless you spent all of your isk on one ship.

Made a signature so I am taken seriously on the forums, since thats the only thing they are good for.

If hauling things is what you like to do then dont play eve, play some single player game like x3.
Other then that, log on after downtime and/or web your freighter with a alt or someone you can trust.

Use a noob alt (hey, 3 toons per account) to attack something and spawn concord on gate. Tell them good luck with these Talos and Brutix.

It looks like you may have been better off just doing the 45 jump route with the amount of time you was stuck in the system before you either got blown up or was able to finally get out you probaly could of made the trip 3 times.
