This has to be one of the funniest things I have read in a while. Well done to those involved.

And Rover/Beagle, guess you're back to eating scraps from the table and sleeping in the dog house again.

Cheers,

Yeah keep repeating to yourself that you won something.

What victory did you believe you got?

Infiltrating INSID and stealing the ships? Kudos to HK, nicely done.

Funny video about me? Again kudos to HK, I had a good laugh.

Me not running for CSM? I already announced that, but I will continue to support the idea of changing the system.I did cared about my idea, I do care about those who believed in it. However I now care more about trolling you guys. :)

Tears? Looks like I am tearing a new one to the trolls.

Welcome to EVE!

PS I want to see a nice video story about the events. HK?

Were you talking to yourself there?

All your towers belong to us, we took almost everything your corp and members can claim as their own, and oh yes you allowed us to do this.

I think that "failing" to kill you because of your fear of logging in does not do anything other than make us laugh at you. Your has been removed from W-space... again. Please come back anytime you wish though.

EDIT: Also this.

So Mr. Beagle, if you don't mind me asking, are you going to replace all the ships your corpmates lost due to your claimed "experiment" or is this just a big joke to you? I'm assuming there are still some good people left in Insid who didn't deserve the wrath you brought down on them.

The CSM "candidacy" and the infiltration were actually unrelated events that just both came to fruition at the same time. It makes for a very interesting interaction though.

I'm just personally wondering about the few people who might have taken Beagle's platform seriously. I wonder if they're feeling jaded or betrayed after the reveal.

LMAO..i almost fell out of my chair...

@ nightbeagle, I thought your idea was fresh, but it was unrealistic. i dont think, it was people weren't receptive to change. It just wouldn't have worked because of CCP policy. If you don't like the rules don't play the game (phun intended) whether it be run for CSM... or actually play the game. I think the more honorable thing would have just been to admirably bow out, instead of this dramatic revelation that no one really believes.

As I previously stated, I do care about the idea I presented for CSM, and even if I cannot run in the elections, I will support it. I will also support anyone who can prove it will really care about the community in general and tries to rely communicate in both ways. I do regret hurting some good people, I apologize and pledge to work to earn their trust.

@trolls
Keep on trolling an making references :)

For me it only shows one thing: you feel insecure enough to attack my person. As many did in the CSM run.

If you are going to look thru my posts, even trolling I kept a limit. In keeping it the same, I'll leave this here

Since we are talking about some victory lets make a first summary of what happened:

- HK infiltrated 2 spies in INSID
- spies asked for permissions to set up a tower in the WH
- spies put up a tower, but POS mechanics make impossible to isolate permissions, thus allowing them roles to modify all other towers.
- spies pick a good moment and drop the shields to all towers
- HK comes and pick the goodies, killing some pilots who happen to log in without getting o comms first.

I'll let other people tell the more romanced story, but in fact we only speak about a theft done by using game mechanics. A good theft nevertheless, showing that a little improvement to POSes could go a long way to improve POS life.

You do not need to give out Starbase Equipment Config. roles to get this done. You can:

a) Set the tower up yourself and give players passwords to their own tower(s).
b) Set up permissions through the tower menu. Give the Starbase Fuel Technician to the guys who want their own tower, and set it so that those with that permission can anchor (but not unanchor) arrays. Then set the tower so that it can only have fuel removed by those with the Starbase Equipment Config. role.

The game does give you tools to prevent what just happened to you (albiet overly-complicated ones that need serious simplifying). In your case, you were just ignorant.
