Might be old news to some, but I enjoyed his show on That Guy with the glasses. Eventualy he got bored and left, and as I understand it he was the majority of the traffic, so like many others I simply stopped going there. Went there on a whim and found... he's back.

Also he had a cameo role in an anime recently, seems he was more popular than he thought he was.

Anyone else watch this, or was it a niche thing?...

Been following this for years now. It has it's ups and downs, and the style won't please everyone. I usually watch it because he's got some good points about the movies, they're almost educational at times ;p

What anime is that by the way? That looks like the Angry Video Game Nerd on the right there aswell.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

Ah, good to know, I used to watch his show, found it entertaining, had some good laughs, and at times was insightful, even if his histrionic style may not appeal to everyone, and I don't necessarily agree with everything he says.

After he got bored with it, I tried to have a look at his new project (forgot the name now) but I couldn't get into it for whatever reasons (one of them being I loathe reality-TV style shows, even if explicitly scripted such as that one). I presume not many other people did, if he's back now with the Nostalgia Critic.

I checked some of the other critics on That Guy With the Glasses, but I only really liked Spoony and Angry Joe (both of which I still follow, even if Spoony can be an utterly obsessive-compulsive weirdo at times), with a bit of Brad Jones here and there - the rest I just felt "meh" about. Both Spoony and Angry Joe have their own separate websites / channels now, so I had no real reason to go back to That Guy With the Glasses after he stopped the Nostalgia Critic, so it figures why the TGWTG traffic took a major dip.

I hate conventional TV (except cooking shows, I love watching food pron), but I enjoy these sort of amateur DIY interwebs shows. My favorite though it's Red Letter Media , not just the Plinkett Reviews that made them infamous, but also Half in the Bag, and other shorts and stuffs they've been making over the years.

I'm hoping more and more funny and creative individuals take a cue from these shows, and aim to produce their own stuff this way, instead of striving for work on the soul-crushing blandness of traditional media.

I'm more of an Angry Video Game Nerd fan.

Those two and Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation are my favorites. Smile
