We are proud of our killboard against everyone. Including RvB.....

Now sir, why would we make a corporation name Mentally Assured Destruction then go back and rage at people? When I say someone will pay I dont get mad or throw a tantrum. I just get more excited because they have shown tears/ignorance and I want to pry more out of them.

The bottom line is this:

Eve University plays off U-MAD as a joke but deep down they know we are greatly effecting their alliance in many different aspects of the game. Kelduum will always give a politician excuse and save face but his fc's and members hold no such standard. We get conversations on the reg with Uni members asking how they can better pilot their ships and what are good fittings. Most of us are on the understanding that this war is helping BOTH of us.

Benefits for U-Mad:
Learn to manage multiple hostile targets(the blob)
Fine tune fits which become extremely hard to kill
We as pilots become much harder to kill
Better our hunting/locating skills
Give us 2000 more wartargets
Many many more....

Benefits that Eve Uni members have acknowledged:
FC's get great experience
Improved traveling safety
Alert relay speed has improved
Found holes in their fleets
Improved cohesian amongst members
Keeps carebears alert
Learn how to get their pod out :)
Learned better baiting tactics
Helped drop dead weight

I respect E-Uni on teaching people the nuances of EVE, but how strict are these rules? If I join, am I likely to be banned for talking to wartargets in local? I would hope that E-Uni understands that not everybody who joins is an idiot and will give them critical information...Which is why it's hard to believe these claims.

Thirdly, I've always been under the impression that U-Mad were fine guys, but I was clearly wrong based on this quote.

It's a lot easier to explain to your 2000 blind followers that it got dropped by RvB than to just unanchor it. You don't have to believe me, but there's a good number of directors who wanted it gone. It wasn't even a functioning POS. No research or production facilities, no real defenses to mention, and no actual purpose, other than a safe rally point and an almost insta-undock from PTS.

1. We defended it gloriously, but in the end, we lost in a valiant effort.
2. We took it down because it sucks and we don't want to fuel it or manage it.

Also, 20B is a drop in the bucket to a massive corp like the University. In the last 120 days, how much ISK has RvB given the University? I would love to see your corp/alliance transaction history on this matter.
