Phew, that concludes day 1 of the SCL Tournament! Amazing work by the team and tons of potential for a permanent regular league. Sure, there's things that can be done better as people have been saying -- but it's one helluva of a production feat for a group of players to get together and do this Shocked.

And I'm sure it'll get even smoother as the league becomes a regular occurrence.

In other news, 17B+ gambled on day 1 of the SCL through Monocle Madness!

The first tournament of the SCL is over, and it looks like the league is going to turn into a promising phenomenon.

We went ahead and supported the SCL thread and SCL-Public channel in the end.

Alongside that, we saw 55B ISK bet on this tournament through Monocle Madness, with Gallente Citizen 827473904580 walking home with the 1B Single Biggest Bet prize! And I promise we had nothing to do with the MoMa-labeled containers that *someone* placed in certain systems.

Another highlight of the day was when a Mr. Otard fulfilled a new player's dream by giving them a Nightmare! Sheeyut, never seen that happen before -- especially in Eve -- first time for everything I guess Cool.

And a big thank you to CCP Fozzie for volunteering for this tournament, I for one didn't know how involved you were with making this a reality. Thank you!
