not sure if this is in game, but I can't find out how to do it if it is.
A keyboard shortcut for open wreck/container (when it is the selected item and/or hold down and click on the item to be opened).

Would it be possible for us to get a hotkey/keyboard shortcut for the "Analyze" button in the scanner window when scanning using probes/onboard ship scanner?

It would also be nice if you could move Recover/Reconnect/Destroy buttons to the right of the window away from the Analyze button.

Edit: Hopefully the hotkey isn't too out of scope or too big a job!

Could you move the infamous "red cross" from the center of NPC ships somewhere to the upper left for example? Dont hide the work of your artists behind this ugly pile of pixels.

* low sec radar sites drops should drop more content, besides invention stuff add t2 blue prints for frigate cruiser modules.Current state of low sec radars is the same as high sec ,they drop same stuff fix this.
* mag sites in low sec are kinda scarce.... pls seed a few more, and make them more diverse, like add gates to them .. with different pockets so u can chose archeology and salvaging(if u chose one pocket you can`t warp back to get to the other so a choice ), salvaging pockets drops t2 t1 salvage like they drop now and archeology drops t2 rig bpc and a new item like an "old gate pass".Make some of the sites to have an bonus room for what u need the "old gate pass" to get in, guarded by harder rats but in there you can get more t2 salvage from salvage cans and and for archeology u have a chance to find some left over faction bpc and items(frig and cruiser size for low sec) or nothing.
* make missions more diverse they are to boring atm,add some randomness factors to them .
* exploration missions.... where the agent sends you to find a specific item by the way of scanning the mission sites down,in there u fight rats, have a chance to spawn some salvage,archeology and hacking cans(a chance not always,) thats appropriate for the sec status you`re doing missions.not as good as exploration sites site.
* make more epic arcs, for all levels, so all the player can enjoy them not just the ones who have the sp to run level 4 missions.
* add some unique exploration site for every level high sec, low sec, null sec.... like "Sansha Central Command Post" for high sec, combat site, witch will give more isk then 4/10 and more chances for faction drops but will only spawn 1 or 2 per region.
Same for other cosmic signatures.
* a better drone interface, with more drone behavior options.
* t2 salvage drones
* add an t1 exploration cruiser, not sure about this but its an idea to bridge the gap from frigs to t3 cruiser.
* do something about battleships, they need better damage.
* remove tags from lp store and compensate with more isk requirements and faction/corp standings.... example if u want a navy raven u need lets say 8 to corp standings and 5 to faction standings. same for other items.
* navy issue battle cruisers....
* ice mining laser for venture.

One more concerning storyline missions:

CCP Dropbear, before he left, said that Soon(TM) SL agents would hand out SL missions according to the type of missions you've flown to get that SL. E.g. if a majority of your 16 missions were Distribution you'd get Distribution and so on. That was, what, 2 years ago now?

I don't know how time-intesive that is but I would gladly trade ever other Little Thing for that change alone.

Putting these because I have no idea how much time did it take to fix them. If it's can be done with simple DB query or script - please do.

World shaping: Angel Cartel must stop using Thukker tribe colored Thrashers and Cyclones. Battlecruisers should have current Cynabal model (angbc1), Cruisers - angc1 model, Destroyer - angf7 (aka Lynx). Even Minmatar are getting rid of old Thrashers (read Nefantar Thrasher description) and Angel Cartel is far more superior technically.
Same deal with Mordus Battleships/cruisers on "Mordus Headhunters" mission. They have their own colors now, but for some reason they use Ishukone color scheme. (Fixed in: 2013 CHANTAL branch)

Proposed long time ago, when CCP Soundwave wanted our little things. Still heavily PVE related, ship balance unrelated, still unresolved but easy to fix (remember how fast Golem TP bonus was increased to match missile changes?) in couple of hours. So here it is:
Remove static Marauder role bonus "100% bonus to range and velocity of tractor beams" . Add instead "5% bonus to Tractor Beam and Salvager cycle time and 60% bonus to Tractor Beam range and velocity per level of Marauder skill".
User story: "As new player starting to specialize in Battleships, I need reason to train Maraudeurs instead of Pirate Battleships and Noctis".

From my player perspective it looks like this:
1. Add to all Marauders eliteBonusViolators3 = -5 and eliteBonusViolators4 = 60 attribute, remove eliteBonusViolatorsRole2 and eliteBonusViolatorsRole3
2. Make copies of shipBonusNoctisSalvageCycle, shipBonusNoctisTractorCycle, shipBonusNoctisTractorRange, shipBonusNoctisTractorVelocity effects.
3. Rename them to shipBonusViolatorSalvageCycle, shipBonusViolatorTractorCycle, shipBonusViolatorTractorRange, shipBonusViolatorTractorVelocity.
4. Edit new effects and make them dependent from appropriate skills. Change "ORE Industrial" to "Marauders", shipBonusOreIndustrial1 and shipBonusOreIndustrial2 to eliteBonusViolators3 and eliteBonusViolators4 respectively.
5. Add newly created and edited effects to Marauders to make things work.
6. ????
7. Profit! Hundreds of happy Marauder pilots.

Fix heavy tracking disruption from Blood/Sansha NPC's because this is ridiculous bug. If few hours is not enough to find and fix the problem, then maybe it's enough time to remove TD effects from NPC that doing this until you find the cause.
I remember when entityTrackingDisrupt6 was easily added instead of old entityTrackingDisrupt.
How hard would it be to do the same script change and just remove current entityTrackingDisrupt attribute from blood/sansha NPC's (excluding Incursion) to satisfy your players?

A pilot should be able request, accept, and finish missions while in space.

Have mission belts persist after the mission is turned in.

Add more grav sites that contain common ores. (An Omber site, but no Pyroxene site?). Im not sure how hard it is to add a grav site type, this may be out of scope. As they are low end ores, they could also be annomallies.

A mission will say "complete" when its not really ready to be turned in. For example if Ive killed the NPC with the mission playload but have not picked it up and taken it to the agent home base. Add a term that tells me there is still more to do before I warp off and and try hitting that "complete mission" button.

Wormholes are the vermin of the sky. Add some way to sort sites out site types without having to scan them down to 50%, site after site. It gets to be a grind rather fast. (Using a deep space probe first helps a little...)

Bring back the Green Cloud of Doom to Recon part 3.

There use to be 2 high sec L4 SoE agents that gave combat missions. Now.. just one. Please add the other back.

I do not do faction kill missions due to the standings hit. It would be nice to have an automatic method for them to simply not be offered, or a way to pay to keep the kills off my record (like for half the mission reward, the agent will keep it hushed up).

Some of the text in a mission offer looks like its half of a conversation. When I started playing the other half (my half) was there. Either fix what the agent says, or return the full convo.

Some great ideas in this thread (and a few terrible ones /shrug). I'll try not to be redundant.

Not sure how hard these are...

  • Shortcut key for directional scanner Scan I want to be able to see what's about to land on me while in WH space without clicking a tiny button, or get a scan of the grid without having to stop frantically clicking the warp out button.

  • Button to arrange scan probes in a standard cross/box formation or a saved or last used formation. Having to re-arrange probes each time they're launched is time wasting and annoying when I know i'm going to use the same shape as last time.

  • Make the directional scanner tracking able to target bookmarks and scanned signatures. This will be a bit double edged as enemies in system would be able to figure out which anom you're in faster, but I think it'd be worth it.

  • Bookmark Shortcut. Instantly brings up the New Location dialog. Cut out the need to go through the middle man contacts/agents/locations window when making a bookmark.

i like the probe formation idea..but don`t make it cross/box formation standard. Give us the option to save the formations we want.

Fix missing mission objective enemy icons for Rogue drones (example with res/ui/texture/icons/drones.png), EoM (example with actual EoM decal), Mercenaries.

Improvements to Agent finder:
Ability to find and filter locator agents.
Ability to find Event agents (Circle agents), Epic Arc agents and other working agents.

Unpopular: Restrict 3/10 complexes for Strategic Cruisers. It's is unfair to allow overpowered T3 ships in those sites, creating unneeded competition for starters. Alternatively - allow all ship types in 3/10, because why not? If Tengu can destroy those sites in semi-afk mode, why Sleipnir or Kronos can't?

I wouldn't call rebalancing gate restrictions a "Little Thing" :D
But it's a good point, the gap between T1, T2 and T3 cruisers is bigger than the gap between cruisers, BC and BS.

However even if they redo the list of all the acceleration gate restrictions for all the exploration sites, it's just fixing the symptom of the problem: why are people with the SP and ISK, sitting in highsec running DED 3/10s? I've done it before, and if CCP were to ban T3 ships, I'd just downgrade to T2 cruisers or pirate cruisers and we'd still have the same problem. Some people (myself included) are hard pressed to migrate to low- or null-sec when we can sit in high-sec with infinitely less risk and still make A Lot of Money(tm) farming DED 3/10 and 4/10s.

Hopefully they'll use the carrot as well as the stick if/when they take a look at this :)

Edit: In case it wasn't clear, I totally agree that letting T3 cruisers run highsec exploration sites is just silly.

A simple way to export overviews, possibly in the 'Esc' menu, or even the overview settings window itself, I have about 20 overview presets and the annual windows reload or the occasional CCP patch that requires a game reinstall means a few hours of remembering and configuring all the different overview settings.

Not to mention a simple way to export settings and import them for alts or friends would be great.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

- Drone controls are terrible. Move the drone controls from the drone sub-window to "selected items" window. Alternatively enhance drone panel so it has buttons similar to "Selected window" sub-panel. And remove the drone window refresh when I deploy drones.
- Let me talk to agent from space. Is all that session changing required to be able to turn mission in and get another?
- Let me sell/buy LP points on the market. Or at least contracts. People do that already but through workarounds. It is time for a LP exchange market perhaps.
- I am not sure if it is in now or not, but let me shoot any object in the missions site. Stations, acc-gates, beacons, asteroids, all the things. I really like destroying stuff, loot or not.

My 0.5 cents.

I m not sure if this is just little thing for PVE ( little thing at all).

- I'd like to see locking option in overview same as we use in windows as we want to select couple icons by dragging rectangle around them.. So, right click on targets on overview and drag around them rectangle and make them locked that way. Locking targets will be much faster, at least in PVE mode of game.

EDIT. Locking 8 wrecks to tractor 'em would be super easy job :)

Maybe increase EWAR attempts from elite rats (ofc, have to be careful with sites containing lots of Elites as not to over do it)
