Ever since new patch came out ive been dieing to test out the new AAR mod. since i loved the Ancillary shield booster, *still think a capital one be kinda cool* that could also give bonus when in triage or siege.

but anyways i notice judgeing by eft stats only 1 aar can be fitted to each ship while with the ancillary shield booster you can fit as many as you like. before cpu/pg take massive effect,

it be pretty cool haveing two -3 AAR on a ship like a hyperion at one time. would sure bring back the good memorys of solo pvping against 5 man gangs without spending too too much isk

does ccp plan to change aar so you can fit more then 1 to a ship?

There is this thing, it's called Singularity. Go there, and try it out.

As far as I've seen it's kinda......Underwhelming, but those were half assed tests. Didn't get the time to try it fully yet.

Jury's out still.

Im still playing with it..would be better if the 10% rep bonus would have been retained on the Incursus.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It's not very good. It's barely usable on anything smaller than a battleship due to the massive reload time - plus the lowslot you do lose could've been used to get some extra resistances or plate onto that buffer. Mediocre active buffer < dedicated buffer or dedicated active.

Wtf, Tom?!

How dare you put such a statement into this thread?

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

It's an armor mod. Eve hates armor tankers.

Opinions are 50% wrong....

Not sure what everyone is bitching about.
With Armor honeycombing and a reactive armor hardener and reduction in pg need for reppers, you can build some nastier tanks now, a serious AAR would make armor ships OP...

Great tank, but no DPS mods?
