Docking rights

First time flying around in 0 Sec I wondered about the following:

I docked at a station which is owned by some alliance or corporation (had to pay a docking fee) and logged off.
What would happen if the owners would change it so I don't have docking access there anymore before I log in again?
Can I nevertheless undock or is this the same as getting killed and I wake up in my clone?

What would happen with Items I leave on this station when they remove my docking rights? Do they just wait there for me until (if ever) I come back or can they take them?

You will still be docked in the station and you can undock.

However if you decide to undock you cannot dock again and you cannot access your items in station.

(You can still sell them on the market or on contract.)

I have a lot of stuff in 0.0 I cannot access anymore, but I refuse to sell it!

Back when I was a young innocent rookie I joined a 0.0 corporation and soon got kicked for being a carebear. That was before I got "blood on my teeth" and discovered the joy of blowing up ships with other people in them.

I think it took me like a week to negotiate my way out of there because I didn't want to lose the ship I was in (an Omen I think) and "all my stuff" which was some pile of random modules in my cargo that I'd collected while ratting, and felt like the world's coolest treasure to me at the time. I made two escape attempts before trying to negotiate and made it back to the station in deep hull both times Smile.

But I pleaded my case to some director and he talked to his guys and let me leave...but the closer I got to empire the less that deal was respected and I remember jumping between planets in one system for half an hour while the local channel was full of people talking about locating and killing the intruder...it raised the hairs on the back of my neck I can tell you. Smile

This was back in 2003 and I can still recall the feelings attached to that adventure.

Thanks for your answers.

Yeah I know what you mean but I flew there in a jump clone without implants and just a Kestrel, so I don't have anything "valuable" there. It was just an "in case" question Smile

Nevertheless my Pulse increased on my way there when I suddenly dropped out of warp in a big stationary warp disrupting bubble. Luckily no one took any notice of me Big smile

Haha. Awesome. I love those moments when you think you're toast and then you're not.

Have fun out there :)
