Issues, Workarounds & Localization

this has been a long time issue, occurring roughly every 1 in 3 log ons for the past half year. I first petitioned the problem in august last year.

Basically in an incursion system i would log on and the incursion loca tab would move itself to the first, top left spot on the main chatbox, in doing so it would shrink my chatbox and unanchor it leaving it floating in empty space on my screen. I filed another petition in september and made a forum post in november with a screenshot of the issue as well. I had a few suggestions such as clearing cache and running the repair tool but nothing worked.

And so, roughly 33% of my log ins on this character (i am yet to see this issue appear on any other character that may be in an incursion area) if i was in an incursion area would result in my chatbox being reset and its settings told to get stuffed.

Untill the new patch. Now, 100% of my log ins resets my chatbox, shrinks it and unachors it sending it floating in the bottom of my screen. Then cue the client freeze issue, im now having my chat box reset multiple times a day as my client greyscreens, becomes Not Responding and requires closing the window... I have to reopen the window and log back in and... its reset my chat settings.

So now a slightly irritating long term issue is rapidly becoming infuriating and frustrating, especially as i am yet to get any real advice. I've done both "clear cache" and "run repair tool" trying to fix the broken client, and that still happens, and my chatbox breaks multiple times a day as well now
