Route optimizer doesn't work for 10+ WPs

As it says in the title: after Retribution 1.1 and the switch of the autoroute/route optimizer from Star Map to the overview, optimize route function doesn't work for more than 10 Waypoints anymore.

Before the patch we'd get a warning that this operation would last a very long time, the client would freeze but in the end we'd get the shortest route. Now when you click the Optimize route "button" (it really doesn't look like a button UI team...) for more than 10 WPs, there's no reaction, no error message, no feedback, nothing.

So is this a bug or a stealth nerf? I've read the patch notes several times and didn't see anything about this very very bad change.
