Idea to make large Low-Sec fights more playable.

So when the **** hit the fan in Asakai a while back, I decided to fly down there and check it out. The TiDi was awful. CCP later said that the Crimewatch system was slowing everything down, so here is my idea.

When enough combat or criminal actions are happening in a system, Crimewatch shuts down. Everyone is assumed hostile and is targeted by the Sentry Guns. You would receive a warning on trying to jump into one of these systems that CONCORD has declared a state of emergency here and that everyone who enters that system will be assumed a criminal. On entering system, you take a small Sec Status hit and get targeted by the guns. You would not take sec status hits from any of your actions in that system, but will have GCC upon entering. This would take a huge load off the servers because it would no longer be necessary to look at every action and decide if it was legal. Again, this would only happen if a lot of criminal actions occurred, or maybe on a case by case basis by CCP.

I can see the tears flowing on the forums if this change ever went in (which it won't but hey I can dream right?). Some random afk autopiloting freighter pilot who has all warning windows disabled gets popped because they didn't look at the route haha.

What the... what country do you live in??!?!

If the servers were set up properly in the first place the problem wouldn't have happened. They could have reinforced/dedicated a node on the fly.

What an amazing thread.

When enough pilots get into a system..it should become Nullsec.

Jita = Fixed.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I've always believed that once--just once--CCP should screw with people in high sec. Keep in mind, I spend the majority of my time in high sec, so it's not like I'm some nullbear or low-sec pirate screaming for some type of punishment for people who stay in high sec. I want to legitimately see tears flow forth when suddenly, hundreds of Freighter wrecks are in Jita, those expensive battleships sitting on the Jita 4-4 Undock are dead, and in general nothing but hilarity.

No CONCORD, no rules, no warning. Just make it happen.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

This did happen. Once.

Armageddon Day. All space became 0.0 for 24 hours. After that, everything was rolled back... so no one actually lost anything.

I would GLADLY give up a day of training for 24 hours of pure, unrestricted, inconsequential carnage and mayhem. Twisted
