Hello everyone, I'm posting this to warn all of you against the sad Beta Bank. I met him in a chat room, told him I had lost everything I owned recently (a retriever) after working very hard for it, and since he kept on boasting about his ISK pile I asked if I maybe could have spare change for a restart. He did not want to give it to me, which is fine of course he is not obliged to it.

Later however he told me he felt sad about my loss, and said that whatever I had left ; he would double it. I would not have done this if he was alone in the chat, scammers are everywhere I know. But alot of people in the chat supported him, saying he was rich and trustworthy, so I felt he was. He however, was not. He stole everything I had left, everything, and to top it off he had put this bounty on me. Not only did he stole everything I had left, he also made my career impossible due to this bounty.

I hope you people will never trust this person who calls himself Beta Bank or his friends anymore, they're all very sad, and push me forward to quit this game. Ugh

Ps ; It wasn't his chat, it was the "blueprints" chat.

The bounty will not keep you from mining. If someone does gank you, sell their kill rights for the cost you lost plus a little more.

A 2 week old character is not a total loss even if you recycle it, so if you are really worried about the bounty, make a new character, transfer all you have to it and recycle the old.

Also how much money can a 2 week old character really have that one scam ruins the entire game?

Look at his bio ; He took pride in my loss. Also I'm sure that if you would ask him the devil wouldn't even deny it. Much more proof I don't have sadly..

Don't worry about the playing, I love this game.. I was just very mad & sad about my loss. and the way he scammed me in particular, he was very, very rude. X

Nope. It wasn't rude at all. It was rude of you to donate him all your remaining isk and then demand it back. Especially since nearly all the out-of-game attention we get is because of massive scams and 3/4 of the posts in this very forum are about scammers and scams. If with all that public knowledge and the fact that the scam you mention is nearly 10 years old you still sent him ISK....can I haz your stuffs?

If any of you took the time to PM me and ask me how I'd lost it, I would've told you how. I will now too anyway, although I'm a bit ashamed to talk about it. I lost it on a scam contract at Jita, the very first time I came there. I learned alot from it though, never going to visit Jita agai untill more experienced and won't take any contracts with high amounts of money. I was pissed of course, but not so much pissed as from the scam from BB, since he simply ignored me after instead of insulting me over and over.

Hope I didn't stop you from hating him though.. By all means, keep on going.. P
And no lol, he isn't my main.
