Honest opinion on the "carebear love" (no tears from me)

Nope, no tears. I'm not complaining, I'm not upset, I am merely..enlightened. I enjoy looking at many things from many perspectives, all perspectives if possible

The better high sec mining is good for letting beginners get into mining and industry, and reduces dependency on any ONE large producer of ships..do I say GoonSwarm? Possibly; they do t2 ships, apparently, as they have the moon mining capability

What about expendable t1 ships? More miners, more producers, more ships and weapons, more war. GG, high sec helps low, null, and FW..and everything..plus, nothing really wrong wanting to make ships on your own. It's a challenge..

So, where are my tears? Not here. Accept it, or suicide gank the miners. Have fun.

I have to tell you that after carefully reading and rereading your post, I still have no idea what it's actually about.

People complain about the high sec industrial and carebear support. This explains more than just "stop helping carebear" posts. A bit of..logic in all this madness. I mean I never saw CCP post why they made the mining ships better for solo mining, in SOME cases, but here's some evidence and reasoning. See now?

edit: I don't do epeen posts. It's a waste on opinions.

PVP under 1 mil SP isn't going to last long. I intend on going into FW anyways, which isn't carebearing. And this gets more attention.

Carebear BBQ. That should be the name of the next carebear killing contest. Roast them over an open flame. TwistedPirate

I'll explain a bit more.
I can't fly t2 ships. Cannot use t2 weapons. Cannot use t2 hardeners, or micros, or anything t2 in PVP. I'm at a huge disadvantage against anyone who focused on it. So it won't last long, my ship. And my desire; such a loss, why bother

Plus I got 4 days left on this trial and lost my payment money. Sucks for me, so I'm not stressing anything.

Would be fun. Puring industrial or combat isn't fun, no matter how it's sliced. But, as I just posted right after you did, I have a reason for not pvp'ing as of now.

I thought so too. Then I actually tried FW in a sub 1m SP frigate. Turns out I was wrong.

Ships off the top of my head that you can fly with sub-1m skill points

Scythe with MWD and 60km rep range.

Exequor with 1600 plate and 60km rep range.

Blackbird with 120km jam range.

Caracal.

Dual Prop Stabber.

But the biggest disadvantage you have is not having people to fly with, not having access to intel channels and not having access to a coordinated plan in combat.

There's also my personal favourite, the "clearly a noob is flying this piece of crap" Rifter, with the amazing skill of attracting WTs and then exploding right before/after backup arrives.
And while FW may not have the same dedicated intel resources and knowledge base as a dedicated PvP corp, its 10x better than sitting in the NPC corp. Where the attitude to pvp is "tank your ship, stay in highsec, never shoot at another player"

Dear sir...start a trial get into a kiting condor as you said ONLY t1, go into a fw plex and kill stuf... You can do this from day 2 3 depends on what yo skill for...get a dam griffin...get a neut dragoon...learn what to engage and DO It then talk about it.,

In all honesty there is no problem with someone wanting to learn the ropes, or get into the game and try new things in highsec. There is no problem with people having a carebear approach to things. Combat isn't for everyone.

What there is a problem with, is the level of magnitute and population of people residing in highsec doing the same thing in highsec they've been doing for months and months and exceeding that "beginner" level.

It's a problem from the players who feed that machine (yes nullsec players with highsec pilots are just as guilty) because of how easily profitable it is.

It is however, also a problem on behalf of CCP. I understand any sort of argument you may with to present in regards to subscriber base and all that other bullshit, but let's face it.. it's not our business.

As a trending ground for teaching people the rudimentaries of game play it really is awesome.

But.

There should not be such a high success rate of isk making in highsec. But there is.

And all the people clamoring for things like multiboxing, station games, market trading, afk mining, all of that is what the cause of that cancer is.

Tell someone who uses a cellphone that they can get brain cancer and that person won't put their phone down. They will laugh at you and continue to text. Phone manufacturers will still make phones, health benefactors will still rally about how harmful they are, and consumers will still continue to use them.

The point being.. it isn't for me or you or anyone else to us or any other mass of people how bad it is. It's up to you or me or any single person to make up their own godamn mind and do what they want.

If you think highsec is a problem and want to live in nullsec, go ******* live in nullsec and leave highsec alone, not have that highsec alt because "highsec makes more money". That feeds the machine.

If you want to mine and do nothing else, don't tell the griefer to leave you alone. You're in Eve. You will get combat whether you like it or not.

In the end... it's all "your" fault.

Get over it.
