Set As Interest Broken?

So it appears that the 'set as interest' option does not do anything now, set as parent works fine though. Probably a known issue but I really hope it gets looked at, the tracking camera is just crap for the shots I want.

It's possible they dissabled it sometime after the tracking camera got installed unless it was working before and now glitched by the patch (don't know, never really used "set as interest/parent" that much)

a few friends also tried it with the same non working results. Few hours later and randomly it started working for me so all is good.
