I can't see anything wrong with the picture.

Things sure have changed since when I did PI... I don't remember placing things so far apart.

Let us partake in a game of pretend EVE. Imagine yourself in EVE... actually using PI.

As you look at your monitor displaying the image from this original post, you are aware that you have one extractor control unit and ten adjacent extractor control heads. The heads are ready to suck up a resource hot spot. But wait....

There is too much space between the extractor control heads! Now you know what to do. Click and drag each head to bring them closer together.

Just look at the picture and try to imagine moving them as close as possible BUT NOT touching or overlapping.

No problemo? Too easy? Yeah, visibility is OP. Nerf.

Hey, maybe the reason nobody uses those gosh-darn planeterractions is THEY ALL WENT BLIND.

I mind the reflection covering the extractors. Same for clouds on temperates. PI usability is not good, though it was worse.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Probably your terrible setup is anoying...I mean this line must need more CPU than 5 EVE clients on highest resolution...

WTF... why harvesters so far from the hub? Shocked

Waste of CPU. I keep all my buildings so close together I can barely even click on their links. Saves that precious CPU that can be used for... more buildings! Just move the extractor heads, not the harvesters themselves.

This is with only level 3 skill, doing enriched uranium straight to export. Nice, neat and organized.

That's it I give up.... Ok, jk but seriously... you guys are /facepalm all around man

Well for one thing you already initiated the program cycle, which suddenly makes extractor heads much easier to see (open my screenshot to see difference). Great but not any use while placing them on hot spots, its only AFTER placing them. Too late to make any adjustments there. Its stuck now.

One day you may just mosey your sweet ass into a system with an ice planet. Or one of the brighter shades of Gas. Depending on some random **** like pRadius and solar distance it could resemble a dark blue or grayish marble. Or it may look like a giant ******* light bulb in your face. That spells "eyeball **** for many PI nights to come."

Yes, I wish i could just change my on/off...?

It's like pre-tyrannis in here... welp

If you want an analogous experience of this pain in the butt just go over and read this thread one more time. Except this time read it in highlighter on a piece of printer paper

That is a good one. Blink

PI sucks. Not just resources. Its graphics are slow and the entire system punishes you week after week of using it by turning itself off. Ugh

To be honest this isnt just PI its a general issue in EVE that graphics sometimes are glaringly bright.
How many of you have not spent more time turnign the camera to avoid the clouds in The Blockade
than you do actualy shooting the rats ..., or that one lovely cosmos site in Amarr where the entire
screen turns bright electric blue to the point that you can barely see anything regardless of settings.
That is if you manag to turn the glare down low enough to be acceptable everything else is so dim
that i cant make them out.
Same goes for the miniscule fonts, something that people complained about back in beta and which
are still around, it seems like the developers believe that being unable to see something is a good way
to create hard gameplay, AI pft ..., Actual content ... nah lets just make it hard to see!... *rant off*

Does anyone else just see pretty colours and lines when they open these images? They mean nothing to me.

Thank you! Finally someone that understands the concepts to which i refer!

CCP should start treating contrast as a commodity....

The font in DUST 514 has a functionality of about 60% lol!

The UI is completely impossible to see when doing PI on an Ice planet on the lower graphics settings, whilst still being a total pain on max settings.

I'm still failing to see what the 'problem' is here, aside from pathetic highsec yield, which I believe is intended.

Good grief people.

The control heads are far too translucent.
