Game only using Intergrated Graphics

Hi all

First off their is no option in-game to switch to my Nvidia Gforce GTX 660M

I have a MSI GE60 0NC gaming laptop. i have updated direct X and graphics drivers and chip set drivers.

I have also set the eve.exe to run with the Nvidia Gforce GTX 660M but still only shows integrated graphics being used (Intel HD 4000).

has anyone had a similar problem with this.

i was thinking that i have set the Eve.exe to run with Nvidia Gforce GTX 660M but that is only running the launcher maybe that is my problem ?

Your laptop likely has optimus graphics which will mean in game it will show that it is using the Intel HD graphics card even when it is using the geforce card.

If your laptop has onboard graphics and an additional GPU then EVE will use the additional GPU although the graphic settings display your onboard chip.

This is due to limited information when the device is created and is something we havent had time to address but I assure you that it is purely visual.

If you are running an Optimus enabled laptop then you can find a handy tool to confirm that your application is running on the GPU from here.

So its the Launch screen just not showing two gpu's, and is as you say selecting the add on mobile gpu by default?

I just wanna say I too have GTX 660M and it is showing that its using the I7 HD 4000 intel built in gpu.
