Blueprint problem

So I was looking at buying a few blue prints to start of with my manufacturing side, mainly to support myself in consumables, and I notice some blueprints are simply missing. I understand that Tech 2 blueprints can only be invented? But I was looking at some tech 1 things and there are non for sale.
An example? the Tech 1 sentry drones. There are lots of what seem "normal" tech BPs not there. The new armour repairing module and BPO that were added in the patch is another example. Are they only found as copies in exploration. (I have found two BPCs so far this way but for Items I do not need at the moment)
I have searched google and this site and I have not found much information that spreads light on what is put on the market by CCP and what is invented/found.
A few pointers if you please :-)

BPO are NPC seeded. Different BPO are seeded in different regions. Set your market filters to show all and region, then fly around the different regions looking at what's available.

This. Bpo are sold primary by NPC corporations and they dont have offices in every region ingame. So you need to go arround a bit if you want something thats not available in your current region.

The new armour repair module that was added in the patch doesn't have a BPO. From the Dev Blog on the patch:

Quote:
Their blueprint copies are found in all the same places where other blueprints for prototype modules such as the ASB can already be acquired.

The T1 sentry drone BPOs are all for sale by NPCs, specifically by the CreoDron corp (ie sold in CreoDron stations)

p.s. You do know that you need good indy skills and a well-researched BPO/BPC to make stuff cheaper than you can buy? As a quick example, Antimatter M ammo sells in Dodi for roughly 99 ISK/unit. With Production Efficiency trained to 5 and an ME 30 BPO, a unit of Antimatter M costs about 92 ISK to make. Lower skills or lower ME BPO and you'll probably be making at a loss.

Thanks for this info. It helped.

Is there a website I have not found that lists what NPC corps sell what BPOs?

I realise that I am a long way behind others that played for years. But I guess I have to start somewhere. I was going to get some popular (for my character) ammo BPs and research them so I can keep myself supplied easily and sell off any excess. Is this not a good plan then?
Other plan I had was to do some planet stuff to have a little passive income.

If you've done the maths and have checked and confirmed that you can make the ammo cheaper than what you can buy it (and minerals you mine are not free), then it's a good plan. If you haven't done the maths.....

The /only/ caveat on this is:

Travel takes time. Time is money.

If you're in the back of beyond, and can't buy your ammo for a reasonable price, making it for more than the jita price is fine.

That's the only caveat though.

Woo! CSM XI!
