Those 2004-2007 years, why is that not the game anybody wants to play anymore? What was so terrible about that EVE Online? Why is highsec-centric EVE preferable to the ecosystem as it once existed? Has the evolution of EVE been for the better?
EVE is Empire centric because it is the home of emergent game play.
LOL. You're ******* hilarious. Thanks for only reading the last paragraph tho. Your response makes clear that you either didn't read or didn't understand the rest of the post.

This is the Eve we need to get back to, because nowadays it's easier to go to hi-sec to earn ISK, meaning none of this game play takes place.

There's an ecosystem outside of EvE too. It's called Real Life, which I suggest you take it a look some day.

In that ecosystem, there are a myriad of ever changing factors that can make or break the deals.

In that ecosystem a company who had an ancient subscription based income model, tried to switch over to an "a la carte" another but their playerbase refused it (not without big guilt and asshattery done by that company and their "GREED IS GOOD").

It that ecosystem a now stranded company hostage of a dying subscription based business model and in the worst worldwide crysis since the Great Depression, had to reach out and take in the less desiderable custormers and adapt.

The company adapted and is still alive. Life is a b!tch.

Maybe you should adapt too.

I see your LOL and raise you a LULZ P

Rather than quote your whole wall of text, I took theliberty of using your final soundbite as a reference.

Tell me of this other wonderful home of emergent game play outside Empire (well, other than WH space, ofcourse)?

Nah, not risk adverse, but not stupid either - most certainly not providing the likes of you with easy killsBlink Oh, and for future reference, in case you mistakenly try to concoct additional stereotypes; I don't mine, I very rarely run missions and the nearest I've come to running Incursions is BM'ing the beacons for deep safes.

Judging by the PCU figures (EVE Offline), Retribution, along with the changes you appear to despise, appears to have been one of the most successful expansions to date. Which do you think CCP will take most notice of?

The "consumers" will just have to vary their diet, maybe even turning cannibal and provide their own content. Adapt or GTFO, is this not the usual GD response?
