It is awesome to see so many people complaining about their crappy internet connection and how their drake lost DPS (even though it gained it) and how a ship that was flown more than almost any other was brought in line with the others (cane).


The guy threatening to try to start a mass unsubbing campaign because he's playing on a computer from a cave somewhere is the absolute best. You and 9 dudes who couldn't get the patch downloaded through your wire and tin can will be missed.

Malcanis - Without drone assign, the slowcat doctrine will wither and die.

the blog is too long to read, dont see the need for all these changes, it was broken, I liked it broken. stop fixing it.

where is the fun in making everything equal and balanced, and beige and blah!!!!

This is the path everry single online game has followed. they try to make everyone happy by fixing all the quirks, and balancing it all out, and then it is boring.

leave it alone.

Meh the changes don't seem to bother me one bit my drake still has the same dps and can still do lvl 4's with my low sp in missiles

I find the changes fun makes a person think more of their fits Big smile

All in all I like the changes

I hope they give some of the "body double" t2 ships new hulls Twisted *eg Nighthawk & Vulture at least make one of them a differnt hull* Twisted

Logging in today to find my beautiful Prophecy BCs neutered, I figured I should at least try one out before weeping.

So I filled one up with (AMARR) drones (of course), fit drone control modules (in the highs, mediums, and lows apparently) and since I've only got 4 turrets now, replaced them with missile launchers. I've used the Prophecy primarily to blitz lvl 3 missions for standings so I went off to see how the new and improved Myrm....err...Prophecy would fare in similar situations.

Gameplay yesterday: Using different crystals, I calculated optimal orbit distance factoring falloff and crystal range bonuses/penalties to swoop down upon npcs in my golden Amarr eagle at the precise distance necessary to ensure maximum carnage.

Gameplay today: I launched drones at the warp-in location and watched them fly around.

Can't say that I consider that an improvement. Also, when I undocked in Amarr, I had to fly through a swarm of Hobgoblin I's to depart.

Awesome.

Considering that my missile skills and drone skills suck, I was looking at the time necessary to fit most t2 gear with today's fit and it clocked in at nearly 2 months. I don't have 2 months to devote to that atm sadly.

So I docked back up, spun my Prophecy around in the hangar for a while, and after staring at it for about 30 minutes, logged Yonis out.

But I did hear a few players with awesome drone skills (Gallente pilots in my case) do love these changes and I heard some null seccers are thrilled that they can use Prophecies now to deploy 3 sentry drones at gatecamps.

So I guess all is well.

I decided to keep one in my hangar with its red turret slots even though I can't undock with it as a memorial.

I'll probably sell the others.

I just have no use for a drone BC.

Please don't do this to the Amarr BS's next.

I couldn't even break the shield tank on an Armor Tanked Harbinger with HAMs.

DPS is ANEMIC at 300 DPS with 5 HAMs and 3 BCU's, its maximum potential... stops at 300 DPS? Seriously? For a battlecruiser?

My Enyo does better numbers.

Tank is already **** since the ASB "nerf", which nothing was done to address, so they're pretty much weak in tank and dps now.

When they did turret DPS at least they were applying solid DPS numbers.

Fix this crap, seriously. Give it the 6th missile slot it SHOULD have.

It has no redeeming value anymore.

Well we had a nice long period of CCP sensibility. Now it looks like they are drifting back into looney tunes mode.

I really hate what they have done to my BC's. To put it bluntly, it's **********g stupid.

As I see it I am left with only two options.
1- Let my subs run dry and wait until the loons leave the asylum.
2- Change my sex and become Amarr.

5 missiles and 2 non bonus guns is awesome idea CCP..

From space flashlight of awesome to fail drake copy,missing launchers wrong bonuses..i literally cant find anything more insulting for my soul than that.

just redo it to guns like proper ship and remove high and forget about minmatar i beg you please.

All in all a great step and a great add-on. All that I need now is a method to hunt down all those perma-cloaked campers that sit in every system and effektively block using them. I mean, you do not delude yourself that anyone is so dumb to try to actively do ratting or mining with a cloaked neutral in system, now that you buffed black ops, right? And think of the "small corporations or alliances" that are dependant on being able to use their space and that you wanted to help to get a stephold in 0.0 - permacamping will instantly kill off any such attempt. Even a single "power of two" alt camping the system will very efficiently sabotage your attempts to make 0.0 attractive for new, enterprising small corps. Please, in one of your very next patches, include passive scanning for cloaked neuts, trying to detect their transponder signal that lets them appear in local. I so dearly want to step in my destroyer and hunt cloakies Twisted

Not sure if anyone have experienced this yet.

Before the update I could always find my bomb hit damage notifications in my Logs when I threw a bomb and it hit.

Now I do not find them anymore after the update.

Any ideas?

Another problem.. Before the update, I could export my overview settings, and after I cannot... It asks for a file name, and when you click to save, it just sits there and does nothing?

Uhm... they have been aligning to their destination Stars for some time now.... Since the last big update

This was done a couple of expansions ago. If you look at the star gate you should see the autopilot line going straight to the target star.
