[BUG?] Sleepers Despawning Mid-Site

So not sure if other people have noticed this, but it seems now there may be triggers on the last wave of anomalies that cause all remaining sleepers to despawn. (As of Retribution 1.1)

A corpie and I were running C3 anoms through our static and after some testing it seems that killing the Awakened Preserver on the last wave of Fortification Frontier Stronghold sites causes all remaining sleepers to despawn almost immediately, with us still in the site and with them locked.

There are two things I'm wondering:
1) Is this new behavior intentional or a bug?
2) Have other people experienced this in the same or different sites?

EDIT:
Turns out I'm just half blind and missed the fact that this is a known issue listed in this thread.

Still, might be helpful to have some idea of what causes things to despawn.

Known Affected Sites and what triggers sleeper warp-offs:
Fortification Frontier Stronghold - Awakened Preserver on final wave
Outpost Frontier Stronghold - Both Battleships on final wave
Oruze Construct - Battleship on final wave

I haven't had an opportunity to test this, but if it didn't make the patch notes it is almost certainly an unintended bug.

yes have this prob as well
last two preservers on oruze construct would despawn when we killed the bs
did this twice as well with a fortifaction frontier stronghold aswell

Two out of three radars had the sleepers despawn yesterday as soon as the first can was hacked.
Happened once in an anom too, not sure what triggered it.

Had us rather puzzled the first time it happened...

Yea given that it is affecting all kinds of sites also in High low and null.

YMMV, but we've had some success with preventing the BS/Faction Spawn from warping off by leaving some of the minor ships in the last wave (cruisers, frigs, etc) alive. It's almost as if they added a new type of trigger to the final waves.

Happened to me last night in the same anom. Had the BS left. Killed the preserver, and the bs despawned.
