Hey

Just DL'd this and it's pretty cool so far. Lots of good data in there. Some confirmations and some eyebrow-raising.

Anyway...one minor thing and one less minor:

1) The invention Results Monitor: Neat tool. Was tracking via spreadsheet, but this is much easier. The issue is with the calendar for selecting date ranges. I cannot change the year to anything but 2012. Not sure if this is just a visual error, as the calendar box indicates other years. The returned data changes, so I think it's just a visual error in the "Select Date Range" fields.

1a) The program "errored out" (CTD) on me when I tried to look at a perpetual motion machine that I invented waaaay back....maybe it's in db anymore?

2) I can't seem to get it to load my BPs. Not sure if this is an API thing or something else. I assume it's something from my end, as this would be problematic if it were the program. I selected the 5 API categories listed on the opening post of the thread. The BPs are currently located in an NPC station and not in any sort of container. I get nothing in the "Blueprints" tab of main console nor in "Blueprint Management" so I figure it's not getting my data for some reason. All other char data seems to have imported (skills, standings, etc.)

TIA for any assistance,

TB

The date for invention results only pulls data that is in the API, which isn't everything you've ever invented. I'm not sure how many records it pulls but I save the jobs and then just add to them when there are new records. I'm limited by what the API provides. When I made this for instance, I had been inventing for years but it only pulled like a few months of jobs.

As far as a perpetual motion machine, that would error as there is no BP for it that I know of. I'm not sure why it would show up in your API though unless you did it in 2012.

On the BPs to load, it's not automatic. You need to import them from Blueprint Management if you haven't. If you tried that, then I'm not sure. Sometimes the API takes a bit to update access. But be aware that the API does not provide BPs with ME or PE values. You'll have to enter those manually.

Let me know if that helps.

yeah...like I said, the invention tool is interesting, but not critical.

Figured out the other..."scan personal assets" needed to be performed. I thought it pulled automatically from API data. After an asset scan, they all appear (sans ME/PE as you said.)

Ran across another bug, this one with the 'can make/can not make' checks. Easiest to show a screenshot for this:

http://imgur.com/NouOUjF

Since I don't have any levels in Battleship construction, there's no way I can make a Sin, but on both the blueprints screen and the manufacturing tab (the checkbox for only show items I can build), the app seems to think I can.
The imported skills are correct and no overridden, and as the screenshot shows, the Required Skills dialog flags the two missing skills.

Great software, thanks for creating it!

I do have a question though, apologies in advance if this has been reported, but I didn't have time to go through all posts :)

I have entered all my corp BPOs with their ME/PE, but every time I start the program I have to click on Scan Corp Assets or nothing shows as owned and all ME/PE are set to zero. Interesting enough, as soon as I scan it, all my BPOs come back with their correct ME/PE. So the information is stored, just doesn't show until I scan.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure. Maybe send me a screen shot of the list when it's not what you expect. When you hit scan, it'll update the results with only the bps scanned though. The regular view is all bps.

I can send you the screenshot, but I think this is pretty straight forward...

1- Start IPH, go to Blueprint Management, check Owned BP's = Nothing shows, list is blank;
2- Click Scan Corp Assets, owned BPOs show with proper ME/PE;
3- Close IPH;
4- Start IPH, go to Blueprint Management, check Owned BP's = Nothing shows, list is blank;

It seems that my information regarding ME/PE is all saved, but there is no caching of what I own. I have to scan it every time I start IPH. Is that the expected behavior?

Ok well the reason I ask for the screenshot is to see the options you have selected, which could cause BPs from not showing up. Probably not the case here though.

I'm not positive what the issue is and I can't reproduce it with the steps above. Did you only scan corp assets? When you mark a BP as owned manually, does it show up in owned bps? Also, is the corp key the same character as the one you have selected? If not, this might be the issue as there are some problems with how corp keys work that I'm working on now.

Problem solved, I uninstalled, deleted the IPH directory and re-installed. Then imported the BPs from my backup and did a Corp Scan.

Now whenever I start the program it's all there.

Just for the record, I am using a char on the same corp, so that wasn't the issue.

Thanks for the support and prompt replies!

AttentionAttentionFIXED, see solution below.AttentionAttention

I recently moved to Windows 8 and tried to install IPH, however I got the following error: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run.". The following is in my Windows logs:

Quote:
Product: EVE Isk per Hour -- Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action AI_ResolveLocalizedCredentials, entry: GetLocalizedCredentials, library: C:\Users\x\AppData\Local\Temp\MSIFC81.tmp

So I thought I'd try running just the binary, this however resulted in a crash. The following is in my Windows logs:

Great application.

This might have been answered before, but is it possible to filter out mickey mouse items like Iteron Ultramarine and Interbus Shuttles in the manufacturing list?

Why did I only found out about this tool today? Looks promising, but I have an odd problem:

All prices are multiplied by a hundred. Looks like the divider is moved two positions to the right. First thought was that it could be my localised settings in Windows (settings for numbers and currency in the Control Panel). Unfortunately, closing IPH and changing these settings to US standard and reopening IPH didn't solve the problem.

I live in the Netherlands, where we use comma's as decimal symbol and the dot for digit grouping. After reversing this, I still get price values times 100.

Any ideas how to solve this?

I LOVE your program. HOWEVER, the Orca needs to be added instead of the Rorqual. It is the mining fleet booster I my corp utilizes most. Also, the exhumers need to be added.

The Exhumers appear on the mining ship selection dropdown if skills are sufficient, check the skills of the character that's configured

Ahh thanks. Figured it out, I basically was moving some code around and cut and paste some extra code heh Roll

I'll have it fixed next patch

Not yet. On the list though. Plan is to allow marking blueprints as 'Ignore' in the Blueprint Management so you can filter whatever you like.

That's interesting. I had this issue early on but I force the program to use US settings for decimals and such. It's much easier to do it that way for me. But it shouldn't matter what your localized windows settings are. I'm not really sure what else to do to help. I can double check with some international corp mates to see if they have issues.

Yeah, the Orca shows up when you change the skills to mining director. I'm going to make that auto load the orca and if you select it, it'll just set the base skills required. This is a common complaint.

On the Exhumers, yeah, just set the mining barge level and exhumer level to what is required and it'll show up. I'm trying to give people the ability to look at what skills they have and what they can use when they get more training. Then see the difference in ore yield, etc based on different setups.

Question for you all.

I have inadvertantly gotten a couple of dupliactes on BP's following assigning unowned an ME value. I did back up my BP data. However, it doesn't appear to be loading that data back in when selecting the function. These incorrect duplicates still show in the manufacturing tab even though I have reset the BP's.

Solution?

Secondly... If I follow the format in the CSV file can I add BP's and import them?

Thank you in advance

Sorry if this is a question which has already answered. I understand what the svr ratio is and how to interpret it. What I don't understand is why are some items showing up on my calculate screen with no svr data? Shouldn't the svr threshhold make this data not show?

Thank you for the program!

Not sure what that first issue is. You shouldn't have duplicates unless you mark one as a copy and the other as an original. I only assume you have one of each BP.

On the second question, yes if you edit the file manually in excel for instance, then upload it, it'll copy all the data you enter. So if you want to just export a blank BP list and then edit what is there, then upload that, it'll work (as long as you don't change any field names at the top).

Uncheck the option "Include Items w/o SVR values" to only show items with SVR data. In a lot of cases, there just isn't enough data to calculate an SVR either due to volume or just not in the DB (probably due to volume).

Note for those waiting on Retribution 1.1 update - I'm working through the updater now but it'll probably be tomorrow or Thursday before I can get it up. I made a lot of code changes that I'm still testing and wasn't expecting to have to do a DB update for this early.

Awesome tool, got a question though.

When I change the amount of production lines/labs I have available under "manufacturing list" It does not seem to affect the SVR value of different items. Am I correct in assuming this means the shown SVR for products is per production line per day?

First, let me begin by saying I love this app. I use it every single day, without fail. It's saved me time and money. Also, I've donated to you on my main. So, on to my issue. I've entered hundreds of BPOs into my database and for some reason now, some very lucrative jobs do not pop up on the Manufacturing Tab when I Calculate. When I import prices, I choose everything known to man, and my search parameters on the Manufacturing Tab should definately be kicking out some jobs. Yet for some reason those jobs don't show up. Typically I search All Blueprints, but even when I search Owned BPOs, still nothing. I've tinkered with the SVR settings and I just can't figure it out. Anyone else experiencing some wonky search results?
