I will be publishing a series of overviews as I am able to make them. Keep in mind that this first one is PVP orientated with minimal PVE relevance. I will be publishing more and more overviews that will cover a less (or more) broad spectrum of EVE play styles to include PVE as well. PVE in it's entirety.

It is an impossible job to create 1 overview profile that all will enjoy, prefer, or find 100% useful. This Overview Profile is one that I have shared and many have appreciated and used over the past year. In both null sec and low sec. If for any reason you do not like it or feel you can not use it please let me know and include anything you would like to see changed/added so that I can mold it into a more useful Overview Profile for the general public to enjoy.

With that in mind I have included a few specific Sub-Profiles that you can edit to you liking. Consequently I have added a way/method for you to change these so that you can keep the main layout of the overall Overview Profile.

Each pilot, at least in my experience have their own flight patterns and combat styles. To help accommodate this I have made these 4 sub-profiles easily editable. How? Read below:

1.) First, you will need to create the overview the way you prefer to fly with mostly.
2.) Second, you will need to save it as "Overview Name Here". Using the same exact name I have used in the scheme. For example. If you want to edit " EP - PRIMARY PVP " simply create it the way you prefer it then save it as so:

space EP - PRIMARY PVP space

Make sure to include the spaces before and after the name. It will tell you that one exists with this name and ask if you wish to save over it. Save over it. Once saved it will remain in the same location in the hierarchy of the overview scheme.

Me and a lot of the pilots I fly with tend to fly with a minimalist overview profile. I typically have multiple tabs for serving varies purposes. I have gates and station on travel profiles for quicker response times to target engagements. If you would like them you can use the method I have listed above to edit your primary and secondary PVP profiles as well as your travel profiles.

IMPORTANT: All overviews are set up in a way that ONLY pilots that can be shot have backgrounds. IE: Pilot is suspect, pilot is criminal, etc, etc,.

These include both Global Client Settings and Global Overview settings as well as custom shortcut keys. A very well rounded and thorough setup. For a how to refer to HERE.

Updating/Installing Overview Settings:
1.) Download the Overview Settings (Known bugs fixed)
2.) Copy the file to your Overview Settings Dir. (Remember the Overview folder is case sensitive) If there is no overview folder then you will need to create one.
Windows: C:\Users\ (YourNameHere) \Documents\EVE\Overview
Linux: /home/ (YourNameHere) /EVE/Overview/
Mac: /Users/ (YourNameHere) /Library/Application Support/EVE\ Online/p_drive/My\ Documents/EVE/Overview
3.) Open up EVE and import these settings via your overview. (You will need to exit EVE entirely then log back in for the Global Settings to take effect.)

Forgive me if there is anything off or anything you don't like. I've been doing overviews for a while and making them for people at request but never for the general pilot. I will rely on you all to let me know if things need tweaking or revising. I will keep up with steady updates and new views. Thanks again for all the support and I hope this helps =)

Any chance of getting some pve overviews anytime soon? Nice job to on these.

Overview on FP ALL doesnt show fleet members/ pilots with bountys (in corp/ alliance) and pilots with negative security static (in corp/ Alliance) is this a ccp bug or your settings wrong?

I mess with the states and see that bounty isnt selected as well as pilots with negative sec but also i see pilots in fleet checked and nothing comes up (under ships t2 haulers arnt selected and that prob should be bc a friendly can be in that imo) some thoughts still picking this apart :P

also may be ccp with update has everything bugged just let me know :D

Thanks! Yeah, they moved around and added new object ID's. As I type this I am updating them. Should be done in an hour or so and i'll re upload and make available for download.

Also, states ID tags were also moved about so they needed editing as well.

Alright I've looked over the settings. The Friendlies profiles are set the same as I have had them for years. But it seems they no longer function the same. My fleet members or alliance mates neither show up on my tab UNLESS I select Pilot Has NO STANDINGS from the overview bracket for that profile. Also showing that SOME blues not all blues fail to show up on Friendlies profiles at all. Also i'm not sure if there will be a conflict using pilot has no standings with pilots who are in fact contacts.

Other than that I've not seen any other errors or bugs. Just sucks the Friendlies profiles are being so frustrating. If anyone else knows the answer to this please let me know?
