Future toon resale value? Pointless playing the game a certain way for future toon value.
Roleplay? If you peops you play with think it is wrong to cross train then, screw them.

Goodbye Hurricane, Hello Brutix!

Just crosstrain, you need the gallente ship skills to fly Angel ships anyway and a skilles Minmatar toon with T2 guns ect ect is boreing without being able to fly Angel tbh.

The reason i dont crosstrain now is because it simply takes too much time, in my opinion, just to fly a few more ships.
You need the gunnery skills for it, the spaceship skills and so on, if i had for instance a sub-cap minmatar pilot then yes i would crosstrain but for now i deem it useless.

Edit: i have flown gallente bc's and battleships but they all suck in my opinion.

It takes like four or five days to crosstrain as far as ship command skills go.

Stop crying, the age of Winmatar is completely over, deal with it. Minmatar is still a viable PVP option, only now it's as viable as all the other races which is how it should be.

I'm deeply sorry that you have to actually rely on your own skill rather than simply having the better ship in order to win a PVP engagements.

I wouldn't go as far to say the Hurricane was OP, but it was certainly the better option to take in many PVP scenarios. You know that some reblancing needs to be done when there are 12 battlecruisers in the game and the decision on which one to fly comes down between 2.

People do this in every game. They look at the game in a 1 vs 1 scenario. As if there is one ship that can beat all the others. Just play the ship you enjoy playing the most. You'll enjoy the game more that way.

Maybe if you were training purely for ONE TYPE of minmatar ship, that would be valid. However, to squeeze the most out of the race, you need to train missiles, guns, and drones, as well as armour and shield tanking.
Gunnery skills and support skills apply to ALL turrets, not just projectile. Sure, you need to train up hybrid and energy turret skills and the specialisations, but that's not a huge impact.
Ship-boarding skills are also fast and cheap, and make you much more useful.

(Also, corrected both your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. For shame.)

I'm a Minmatar pilot I haven't trained any missile skills. I trained Minmatar for Projectiles not Missiles.

Well, that was dumb.

Yeah, ignoring your races secondary weapons system is somewhat... limiting.

Same here.

All I can advice to anyone is to do it. Even if I'm somehow unhappy with some T1 hulls/tanking changes, I'll learn to deal with, and you're perfectly right, I'm unnerfable. Take it or leave it.

I am a little irritated with the nerf to the powergrid on the cane. I agree it needed one but 400? Seriously? Maybe even 300 or 250 would have been just fine but with 400 gone, it's just enough to **** you off when trying to make a decent fit since you end up being 50 to 100 off with every fit no matter what you do... it's annoying.
