Somehow I've buggered up my Eve so that when I launch it, there is no launcher at all. It goes straight to the client as if I had launched from the internal Eve Online.app. Normally this would be fine, but now I can't install the patch (I hit "ok" from the client for the launcher to implement the patch, the game closes, and nothing happens). I'm not sure exactly how I did this, but I'd hate to have to reinstall the entire game.

Does anyone know what could cause the launcher to have gone missing like this?

Also, if I do redownload the entire game, what files do I need to keep and transfer over to keep all of my preferences, overview settings, shortcuts, etc?
