Wait until they trash the Claymore and turn that into a garbage boat.
Right now, I can get a 110- 120K tank, with 500 plus DPS, and the 3 links.

I can't imagine how bad this thing will be when it is put through the meat grinder and turned into a missile boat.



ppfft claymore was crap anyways, slepnir pwned claymore in the tank depertment

Eh, Cyclones whatever.

I'm just hoping they don't totally F-over the Typhoon in the next pass.

Always considered it a fairly unique boat, requires tons of skills but soars once you have them.
Cheap, fast hull, huge drone bay. The recent buffs to armor tanking can only help.

Just watch Fozzie mangle it and turn it into some kind of halfretarded Raven/ PVE boat.

To a certain extent the 'Phoon is already a torpedo boat, most serious PVP fits tend to start with 5x Siege launchers and Heavy Neuts.

That said, tons of different options with it, even with the partially wasted bonus and split turrets. The large-ass drone bay on the fastest 'Tier 1' hull really makes the ship.

If they take a solid-performing, interesting ship and turn it into some kind of idiotic 'Active Armor Tanking mini-Raven', for fuckin' carebears, while increasing the price and removing the stuff that made it good, I'll blow it.

Tempest -on the other hand could probably use some work. Tornado and Maelstrom already somewhat overlap its role.

CCP told us the Cyclone was changing to a missile platform a long time ago. Why are you just now complaining about it?

Except, of course, that missiles are the Minmatar secondary weapons system.

Drones are the Amarr secondary weapons system, so it would be like forcing a geddon to use drones (which to a large degree it already does).
