Can't select character

I cannot select my character either. I can log on but once im at the character screen the pictures are empty.

Any ideas what can be causing this? Thanks...

Your character must have fallen into the biomass blender... or was pushed... Straight

Have you tried clearing the cache?

figured i'd get some reply like "Surfin's PlunderBunny" ''s ... clearing cache didnt work but validating the files on steam did...

for anyone else that has this problem in the future try this:

right click on eve in your steam library -> properties -> local files tab -> verify game integrity

worked for me

... how do I do that? I downloaded my EVE clients from crazy people in Iceland, and have never...ish had a problem.

I am moving this thread to the Issues and Workarounds subforum, where it can be seen by others who may have faced and solved the same problem.

I would also suggest that you file a petition under "Technical support", "Crashes/lockups".
