Hello,

I'm trying to collect data on the most popular corps to mission for for a project of mine. Please post here the corp that you mission for, why, and which corps you think would be the most popular (besides the obvious navies of the various factions)

Thanks!

Honestly, it doesn't matter. People switch to different corps depending on the different items they are trying to get at different times.

And if they want to get those items at a decent price, they join faction warfare where everything can be dirt cheap if you know how to maximize the payout involved.

I'm not sure how current this site is, but I like to go here as a starting point to see who sells specific LP items I'm working towards. http://www.ellatha.com/eve/LP-Stores

Im going to take a stab in the dark and say Caldari Navy. For Jita in addition to the Navy faction stuff. I know you said aside form the Navies, but that's probably the most obvious one.

Lai Dai might be pretty high as well simply for Research Agents, although that activitiy has likely decreased somewhat since the datacore nerf.

Posting in a stealth tell me which LP store is best thread. Evil

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Mordu's Legion obviously. You can literally name your price on Centurion implants, and once they sell you're probably space rich. Assuming someone bothers to buy them.

Note: it's not a real Falcon alt without Centurions. And a monocle.

This is the project I'm working on: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2508255 I need to verify roughly 145 LP Store manually, hence I am trying to get a feel for the more popular ones so that my data can be somewhat useful. No sense verifying a corp that -no one- uses while there's more popular corps out there. So, no, this isn't a "tell me which LP store is best" thread as I could give two **** less about which is the best (also, I'm in FW so I'm already rolling in the ISK \o/)

Just trying to get a feel on which corps would be more beneficial to verify

The ones that seem the most advantageous to run in my opinion are the ones that do something else than just standing or LP.

1)Any Corp that unlocks an Epic Arc.
Expert Distribution, Impetus, Brutor Tribe, Ministry of Internal Orderm etc
2)Any R&D Corp
Lai Dai, Duvolle, Creo-Don, Boundless Creations etc
3)Any Corp that offers lvl 5 missions
Ishukone Watch, Spacelane etc
4)Any Corp corresponding to a major trade hub
Caldary Navy, Fed Navy, Emperor, Brutor, etc
5)Any Corp with a good refining station.
Lot of these

My two cents,

You will not need to chek 145 corps. Every faction has three different flavors of a LP store (plus special items in the FW store but FW store itselöf should be military branch of the LP store if I remember correct).

The branches are military, industrial and exploration themed. Military is the usual navy thing, you can tell its military as its unique items are the launcher/gun BPC's amontg other things. The Industrial branches have the mining / manufacturing implants and easiest way to tell its a industry themed branch is by looking for the navy damage mod 5 run BPC offers. The last branch is the "exploration" themed, it has the probing and agility implants and you can tell its the "exploration" branch by looking for the propulsion mod 5 run BPC offers.

So you need 3 branches per faction (plus FW if you want these items) as per branch the offers are exactly the same for the corps belonging to that LP store branch.

Ofc there are also minor factions, but other than sisters and moruds they have basically just castrated version of their allied major faction store, i.e., some mods are the same as in major faction store, just named differently but some offers are outright missing.

Should be the same for pirate factions (3 branches per faction), but I'm not 100% sure, I have not looked at very through manner on these.

Here, sanity... niiiice sanity, come to daddy... okay, that's a good sanity... THWONK! GOT the bastard.

Fascinating, thank you for the insight. I knew that stores were redundant to a point, however I was not sure of the organization. This will definitely help, however I will still have to check the stores as some of the data that I have is incomplete, and to get the pieces of information I need to check them anyway. I also don't know how accurate this information is, unfortunately, or how often store break away from this pattern. But I can use this to help automate the process a little. =)

EDIT: I just tested this out. Doesn't seem to be as cut and dry as 3 themes per faction. I made this to show the differences: http://eve-files.com/dl/260719

The (##) is the number if items in the store. Green means I've already verified that corp. If it were 3 themes, I would expect only 3 different variations in the number of items in their stores (not counting special cases such as FW corps). It does seem like quite a few are the same, however as stated not as cut and dry. But this will definitely help speed up the process, so thank you very much for inspiring me to check this.
