If Goonswarm are the most hated alliance in EVE then why has no one decided to take them out yet?

I expected to read a praise on Goons, but only found the ramblings of a white knight. Oops

Well, I guess I have to say it... When it comes to either love or hate in EVE are Goons the only ones who are truly outstanding.

Everyone else, no matter if loved or hated, has to share their place with many others.

And that is the truth!

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

hisec pubbies cross their fingers for someone to take out the big bad goonies because they cannot be bothered to take a break from farming missions or botting the belts

they have no idea about pvp mechanics due to their isolation from the rest of the game, and they have no concept about how sovereignty works so a pubbie-led assault would be like watching a trainwreck

additionally, these wretched hisec pubbies will refuse to submit to the command of an FC for the duration of an op, let alone organize any effort to invade a 0.0 region. since the task cannot be approached with the surgical precision of running a level four mission, the wretches choose to use the forums

It's like the American government system. You have tons of people complaining about it every year, but the only people who actually stand up to do anything about it, are unorganized and unfocused to the point that it hurts the movement as a whole.

the very best thing of this all is that goons lost all their sov more than once, AND they pretty much became who they set out to destroy in the first place.

In all honesty tho, I don't mind. wish they burned nulsec more often tho, as in really burning everything and everyone and their dog and cat.

Sadly today 150 AFK ice miners in local say you stopped any action. 90% of them would be easily ganked as they were AFK in Retrievers.

They're dicks to everyone who isn't them, and it's trendy to hate on them right now.

HOWEVER.
They do many good things. They cause conflict, they get CCP to do stuff, they burn through a HELL of a lot of ships and modules and ammo and PoS fuel, and they're good to their newbies.
The rest of EVE could learn a lot from the goons. Particularly their system of EDUCATING NEW PEOPLE AND NOT SCAMMING OR GANKING THEM.

Hate takes effort, and they haven't personally insulted me or anything. Not like TEST, that blew up my second ever Thrasher right after I bought it and hadn't remembered to insure it.
(I WILL get them back for that.)
