What was the reason paypal was disabled as an payment option for char. transfers ? Any plans to enable it for the future ?.

I wanted to have the char which is offered in the thread and have the salesman made ​​one offer and he confirmed to me what I offer and writes me that he sold me the char.

Now I come from a different time zone (EU and he U.S.), I re-affirmed my commandment in the forum, but the seller is the char at a time to a different char, is that so in order or does that against the rules of ccp what As for the sale of chars in the forum?

I have to write here, because the server does not accept petition at the moment.

I am looking to trade this character with someone else to get my original main back. Am I cover'd by CCP for any scamming done as we would both like the others character on the account we are transfering the wanted characters from - this would mean ti ebing done in 2 steps as only 1 transfer can be active per account at one time.

Not sure if its been asked yet (at work off and on). But I have a question pertaining to :

14. Prior to leaving a corporation, the character to be sold MUST send a corp-wide EVE mail stating that they are going to be sold and will be leaving for an NPC corporation.

I cant assume you would require this of characters that are in/just left a personal alt corp, as in every member of said corp are alts of mine. If its already been asked I'm sorry (and ill make sure to check through the whole thread after work when I have a bit more time)..But as my thread was already locked for a personal mistake, Id rather not mess up again if at all possible.

Be careful buying characters off here. I bought one in the beginning of Feb and because of that player (before me) buying something with RMT, all my wallets were hit with 7,100,000,000 to the minus effectively ending my Eve Online career if CCP doesn't reverse it. My wallet was supplied with only GTC and it clearly showed it but still CCP decided to take my money. All my transactions clearly show what I bought and where I got the money if they would have even bothered to look.

Also the add for the character purchase showed positive wallet in it. Looking thru google, I am seeing a lot of people punished for other peoples sins.

Forgive the noobness of the question, but in selling a character, does the ISK transfer happen as part of the Eve character transfer process, or is that a separate in-game transaction?

It's a separate transaction. You send the ISK to the character you are purchasing.

If no scamming is allowed in the Character bazaar, why wouldn't using noob alts or friends to bid up the price be considered a scam?
It seems pretty clear that some of these SC sitter sales are being manipulated with noob alts and friends to drive the price higher. Yet people who see this going on try to sell them for the same price, not understanding it's being manipulated, and get no bids at all.

Also, the rules clearly state the seller is responsible for the transfer fee, yet I see people using the transfer fee to justify a higher price. Legal or not CCP?

You either need to change the rules to document the fact that you can't prevent price manipulation, or figure out a better way to do this. Lol

im a little confused with number 19..
once everything is final, and i get the isk, can i move it to a diff char or do i have to wait till the customer support does it?

OR you could just not bid if you think its being self bid on, pretty simple really. Im fairly sure no one is forcing you to bid on a char (note the sarcasm)

As far as the winge about people justifying there hi prices with the transfer fee, aslong as the seller pays the fee its legal. Again, don't like a sellers char / his price/ date of birth / if hes a scammer so fecking what---- DONT bid.

You move it. Customer support only moves it if you forget it.

ok so im guessing #14 is only if your in a corp with oter players and not in one you made just to keep your acessets across 3 acounts

I havn't seen anything in the rules so far about warning about a characters bounty. Am I obligated to post that on the sale?

What if a character is being traded without an ISK payment?

Example: Friend is leaving game. He doesn't have time for EVE. He wants to give me his character and assets. There is no point in sending him even 1 ISK.

I'm thinking of buying a char, I read most the post and see they are about selling, but what is the steps to expect when buying ? I post a bid, they accept the bid, I give isk, they transfer the char to my acct ? what Information do I have to give the seller with out risk to my acct? Please let me know what to expect and what i must give the seller. Thanks. O also I might want to sell my char cor say a combat char, can I do a trade and if so how? thanks. Just started playing eve again and don't like indy, I want a combat toon.

from what i read it says you must send isk, and seeing as you are getting the char and the acct, you will get all isk you send so this comment is null, as it maters not. Hope this helps, Just send 1 isk and get the 1 isk back with the transfer. Fly Safe.
