My original comment was overly hasty and poorly worded. I allowed excitement and romantic ideas to fuel it's contents. I've now reviewed it.

My original intent was to hand Leopold Caine over to the RJD, It was my understanding that the RJD was able to handle all criminals in Republic space. Not simply baseline individuals. As I am bound to the laws of the Shandian Iu and the RJD has no jurisdiction, the Shandian Iu have requested that I hand him over. Today I transferred Leopold Caine to Shandian Iu elder Khanton Angka. I no longer have anything to do with his detention or trial, but will be taking stance as something resembling a prosecutor. As an outsider, if found guilty he will face internment for a period to be ordained by a tribunal of our elders.

Expect us to contact you for information and possible arranging of a meeting, Ishata.

Not sure on the specifics, but I do recall once doing a security mission where my agent said that was exactly what they intended to do: The had taken the offending pilot's clone into custody, and then they sent me out to destroy his ship so that when his consciousness was transferred to the clone they could properly arrest him.

As due to the part of my confinement, I have to report I am being treated well and have been given rather generous habitational terms and standards.
Given as I'm allowed to see guests, you should probably ask Salena for a timeframe to see me. Apparently she needs to be there in case you smuggle me a file over or something.
The hearing where I shall be able to defend my innocence shall be held in the next few days.
