House Murder has today escorted one Leopold Caine to Ammatar mandate to answer for a long list of accusations Including but not limited to Illegal slave trading and selling restricted narcotics for organized criminal syndicate, Angel Cartel.

Mr. Caine to my knowledge will have a limited hearing and be transferred to Republic judicial system for an old request by some tribal court or another. Should this be the case, I wish him a pleasant journey.

Wait, so has he voluntarily submitted to a judicial proceeding?

Because to my knowledge there's no way one can actually force a capsuleer to submit to justice he isn't interested in submitting to.

I can actually think of three different ways to subdue a capsuleer against her will. Two of them are too much work compared to what you're getting and the third requires a certain mindset from the capsuleer in question. In all practicality you're quite right, though.

I wonder what kind of mummery this is?

Ixiris. I don't particularly care why he isn't pleading concord secured status. But if you do, feel free to look into it. I am sure he will be most forthcoming with some reason. Meanwhile, I have other matters to attend to.

Leopold Caine will be submitted to my care to transport him to the Flotilla of the Winding Path on the 18th. He will stand trial for assisting in raids against Minmatar space in which 13 members of the Vherokior were abducted by the Angel Cartel. The locations and status of these people is still unknown. I will be acting as an enforcer in my position as a Mystic of the Shandian Iu sub tribe, the sub tribe I belong to.

Upon standing trial under the Shandian Iu sub clans tribunal, Leopold Caine will be incarcerated for his crime or be freed immediately if deemed innocent. I have nothing to do with the RJD, neither will the trial by the Shandian Iu.

Just make sure you double check those restraints and do an extra screening for anyone attending these hearings....

I think the worst that could happen is I drag him to his cell and let his future room mate, a large Brutor going by the name 'Fluffy' introduce himself properly.

I've worked for the RJD for quite some time and they hold me in quite good standing. I have no intention other then to lock Caine away for a very long time and I have submitted relevant data on several other crimes to the RJD and Sandian Iu clans tribunal. This man is a scoundrel, something I came to realize unfortunately slowly.

The RJD are trusting me with this because I know him and I'm aware of his capabilities. I'm also a highly qualified covert operations frigate and interceptor pilot. I've got several years of hit and run tactics and recon under my belt. I'm quite capable of handling this, I assure you.

So, Caine is "escorted" in by his so-very-recently-and-conveniently "returned" pet, who then claims that she has deep connections with an entity she has spent the past few months acting directly against.

She then goes on to claim that "justice" will be done freely and openly - this to a man who for the longest time denied he had any kind of connections with the Cartel whatsoever, and insisted that no, NOTHING could ever be proven... because, well, it couldn't, of course!


What a hoot.


Leopold, I've told you my conditions for accepting that you've had a turn of faith. They still stand. This, as far as I am concerned, is nothing more than a mere charade.

I would like to clarify several key points here.

Firstly, regardless of allegations against anyone declared criminal, every individual has the fundamental right to a free and fair trial in which they are able to defend themselves to the fullest of their ability.

Secondly, no independent capsuleer will act in capacity for, or on behalf of, the Republic Justice Department. While we admire the enthusiasm of individuals who seek justice, this conflicts with the first point made above. Coupled with this, there is the potential for extreme bias, should the correct circumstances arise.

Thirdly, independant capsuleers lie outside the jurisdiction of the Republic Justice Department. The Directive Enforcement Department deals with such matters, and may turn over convicted criminals to sovereign authorities if deemed appropriate should they be successfully tried and convicted.
