Trying to get into Incursions, cant find fleet

I've tried The Ditanian fleet and every fleet associated with them. They wont even answer my requests.

Looking for a fleet. I've got moderate Macharial skills and the isk to buy one of I do get into a fleet.

Same here, Im on the look out to get into and try incursions... Up all night US times on days off. (work midnights)

Try 'Allied Incursion Public' they might be looking for some rookie DPS, I am assuming you have already tried TVP 'The Valhalla Project' and ISN 'Incursion Shiny Network'.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

All of the Incursion's threads, both for getting in a fleet, and properly fitting a ship were moved to the recruitment threads then buried by the spam that occurs there.

(Don't ask we can't quite figure it out ourselves)

I can be a lot harder to get into fleets now, with the initial isk laydown and the fleets being cautious because of griefers and gankers.

If you can get a T2 fitted Mach bought and setup (I assume the OP can, because he was looking to spend 5 billion on a toon), for that particular group, I don't see you having a problem getting in fleet.
If not, I know some groups will take cheaper ships for fleets just set up after DT.

I started a new thread here in missions and complexes I have sent out messages to all the other fc's that dont have me on thier blocked list and i will update it as they come in. Will take a few weeks to get it error free.

What was the issue in TDF? Questions about your fit or getting into fleets? Armour has been bleeding numbers & weekday fleet numbers especially in late USTZ have been disheartening, sorry.
After seeing CCP Fozies' proposals for armor changes I can't stop thinking about a CCP bias against Armor fits... especially in PvE: I can't see a single helpful thing that'll help armor Incursion runners.

I am still don't know too much about incursions, but maybe those of you who cant get into fleets we could all form our own fleet and learn how to do incursions by ourselves. I'm pretty sure we all know the basics and if we think together and learn from first hand experience doing them maybe we could start up our own fleets and things like that. A lot of older players and more professional fleets only except faction BS's and you need to have all of this sp etc etc and it is really hard to find fleets for newer players trying to get involved.

dude you know what the issue is. the problem is fixing the issue. too many hurt feelings all around. All i gotta say is the more i sit back and enjoy my game the more i hear about TDF from others which only makes me think even more that its becoming more an more like a semi closed community. If you do not tote the party line your banned, if you say the wrong thing your banned, you question smeone your banned.

Thats what many people hear about TDF and do not bother joining the channel. something is broken. something needs to be fixed.

that's my opinion.

Lose plates . Get deadspace ENAM ( only 1 on each ship ) . Fit explosive pump and rest fit with damage / tracking / sebo mods . Fit T2 reps on logis . Lose plates from logis . Train pilots to a mindset of working for your isk and not chilling to get paid and you will have quality armor fleets .

Shield still have a huge advantage especially in HQ's & Assault contests I fly a plateless Bhaal...
Site spawns need somereworking, if not for armour/shield balance then for the sake of not doing the same 10 sites' spawns for years straight. Gimme new content ( that doesn't break the game like the Escalation nerf did that is )

Oversimplistic.

There are 3 key things that tips the balance in favor of shield ships.
1) Instantaneous remote repairs. This advantage is massive in AS/HQ, allowing shield ships to run with almost no buffer or very little buffer.
2) Adaptive invulnerability confers massive resist bonuses that allows shields to a) effectively tank what's naturally an armor ship b) single slot mid tank Broken? You be the judge.
3) Passive shield regeneration bonus. This makes RR even more efficient and the numbers are quite significant (approaching the amount of difference between Meta4 and T2 rep in some cases).

Contrary to popular opinion that shield ships are better because they have more spare low slots for damage mods, armor ships too can be similarly fitted in a such a way. Unfortunately, you'll get an armor build which operates an even lower tank threshold than its equivalent shield build - after you take into account those 3 synergies above. Following through, it'll put an incredible strain on the skill of an armor logi pilots (which exceeds their typical shield logi peers). It can be done, but impractical for the long term.

Now, in the very remote or almost zero possibility that CCP changes the armor RR to instantaneous reps, I can almost guarantee you'll be seeing plates off the menu for most armor parties.
