I try to keep myself up to date on all dev posts pertaining to ship changes, thoroughly read through all the dev blogs, (including the meeting notes), and there has been no mention whatsoever, of the armageddon not getting touched.

Based on what they have said, and based on what has happened already, there is one given, and two probable cases for the armageddon:

Given: Mineral cost to build will increase. Whether it is to that of the apoc, that of the abaddon, or some middle ground, is to be seen.

Probable case A: Minor tweaks are made to shield, armor, capacitor, agility, etc. ship retains its 7 guns and 8th utility high, but no significant changes are made.

Probable case B: Armor is increased significantly to match tier 2 or tier 3 bs, ship retains 7 guns, or loses one turret and one high, in favour of a (slightly) larger damage bonus, to do around more dps, with an easier fitting and less capacitor usage, in addition to getting a slight speed increase.

Either way, it WILL be getting 'touched'.

Fact of the matter is, Id rather trust the devs instead of opinions and so far, they only hint very braudly at mineral cost to build to increase, on what, not a single ingame player knows.

Or they could make it the Arbitrator's big brother, and a cheap alternative to the Bhaalgorn Twisted.

I guess overall speculation is that they will be tweaked like everything else in time and it's probably worth dropping a few bucks into :)

I sold into the thousands of BC's in the last few weeks to people looking to just buy off market rather than build. Pocketing a nice 20-30% while selling to the MD ELITE (snicker) Hi Flakeys. Good times. Never underestimate the laziness of the average investor.

Ferox:
Manufacture cost: 31 million
sale price: 39 million
Profit: 8 million

8/31*100: about 25% on your investment.

I think poor shara is terrible at math. That was one yes, Cyclones were
28.4 built
and 37.9 sold

I probably should have instead said 20-34%. Silly me!

He doesn't. He is in fact about dead on though. I sold them as high as 41.8 from a quick glance at my logs. Flakeys bought 132 Ferox's from me at an average price of 37.9m.

The issue is, you don't seem to understand that everyone and their dog saw this coming and was sourcing stuff in Nov/Dec. If you are looking at todays market, you are already seeing the pyerite and mineral rush factored into prices. Which is where the vast majority of the instant profit comes from.

As appealing as this sounds, I just love it's current brawling role, without the drawbacks of the abaddon (capacitor). I hope they keep it almost as is, myself, but just give it a little more speed, and a lote more tank.

If built, your actual profit, must take into account the sell price of the minerals, not what you paid for them, the opportunity to simply flip the minerals is often better than building, at least in the case of when you built them (pre-spike) now, id say building the hulls makes sense.
