If you look hard enough, there's a video or two of a lake in Russia where a chunk of meteorite (allegedly) punched a hole in the ice.

The "crater" in the ice seemed a bit too circular to me, given the angle the meteorite was travelling, but there you have it.

There's also been some fairly impressive meteors over Cuba and San Fransisco but, not quite like Russia. Russia always gets the impressive ones.

Part of it did fall into a lake near by where it exploded in the sky. There are videos of a giant hole in the ice.

The video from the parked car from 1:58-2:14 is probably the best video I've seen so far as far as showing the flight path.

Russians completed investigation of the site. No meteorite fragments were found and no evidence of any external pollution in the water/ice was found.
