Caldari State Farming

Just wondering, is there a faction type of NPC that can be farmed to gain Caldari State standing? And if so how do I go about finding them and how hard are they to kill? Also, is there a good site that shows what drops Guristas Tags by type of tag?

Unless things have changed massively in the last year or so, the only way to get faction standing is

1) Do the Eve epic arc and choose to co-operate with the Caldari state.
2) Do the Caldari level 4 epic arc. But of course you already need high Caldari standings for this.
Both of these can be done every 3 months.
3) Do 16 regular missions for any Caldari mission agent, they give you a storyline mission which will boost your Caldari faction standing.

For Guristas tags, just kill belt rats, anomaly rats or mission rats of the appropriate ship size. For example if you want tags that drop from frigates, do highsec belts/anoms in Caldari space, or level 1/2 Caldari combat missions.

Oops, yes.

The Data Centres offer one-off trades of pirate tags for faction standings. Most are very very expensive though.

To add to the previous, do the career agent missions for all three of your faction career systems and the allied faction, in this case, Amarr.

Then you have the ring agent missions that can be run for the standings boost.

A good guide is the DeMichael Crimson's plan.
