Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but it is very strange and none of my other corpmates had this happen to them when downloading the patch to Singularity.


I downloaded the patch to Singularity without any problems, it was rather quick and easy. Next time I open up my Start Menu, there is a new icon that I've never seen before called EVE Online: -- Trinity

When I clicked on it, it begun to install a patch. Worried that it would mess up my original game or the test game in a different folder, I immediately ended the patch. Both Tranquility and Singularity servers seem fine.

When I put in a search through my computer using EVE and Trinity as the two words, nothing popped up aside from some subscript programs that are built into the games. The actual icon and the patch related to it that it attempted to download did not pop up.

But I can't find anything online about this, and the forums didn't seem to hold anything about this either. Does anybody know what it is?

Yes. Which is why I'm confused as to why something called EVE Online: -- Trinity has popped up. It apparently doesn't exist on my computer when I search it, but it functions when I open it, and tries to download a patch.

Trinity is also the name of the engine that EVE uses, isn't it?
