NPC Corp/Faction resets

Was thinking something along the lines of resetting the standings for a NPC corp/faction to 0.00 by using a PLEX to say bribe an official in it. Maybe set a limitation on how many times you can bribe in a certain time frame so people can't go and fix all their standings and prevent people from just constantly doing it so they have to still watch what they do.

It took you a long time to ruin standings, it will take a long time to undo it.

How about no? This idea of using a PLEX to bypass consequenses and game mechanics is pretty abhorrent in general. A single PLEX is nothing anyway, so using it as a reset makes the consequenses of low standings largely irrelevant. If standings towards a corp or a faction matter so much to you, don't ruin them in the first place or be prepared to do the time to repair them.

Being able to effectively buy standings... maybe not but I wouldn't be adverse to finding a way to reset specific corp (as opposed to faction) standings. Tiny corp standings from a single L1 mission you took on day 2 can be a pain in the arse when your corp wants a jumpclone station or some such.

Maybe letting people pay using Concord LP or something (rather than PLEX) to wipe their slate clean with Amarr Navy might have merit?

Agree with replies on faction standings though, there's shouldn't be an easy way to cosntantly instafix such massively important things.

Aren't the epic arcs designed to help with this? If they are then they should extend them to the remaining factions.

What if we allow standings reset (to no standings as opposed to 0) only if the curernt standings is above 0? That would be useful too.
