This should blow your mind: Wall-E is a story about a blue collar guy who nearly dies trying to impress a gold-digging b****, and only succeeds when he SAVES ALL OF HUMANITY.

She really is. The whole movie I was hoping Wall-E would find a better girl and leave Eve just as she realizes what she missed out on.

Although I also find it creepy that he fell madly in love with the first girl he'd seen in 700 years, even though she tried to kill him and then basically ignored him until he was useful to her.

Basically almost every Disney movie is a demented love story with a cute wrapper.

I feel really bad for that guy in Mulan who spent the whole movie feeling strangely attracted to a dude, only to find out the dude was really a chick.

I feel as though more cartoons are having the female character as competent at everything, and the male is a bumbling fool and inarticulate.

That does seem to be the thought process that modern culture is moving towards.

You just described every family sitcom since (at least) the 1980s. I think the last time we had a bumbling female lead was in I Love Lucy.

The Honeymooners may have been the first to use that paradigm.
Returning to the original topic I don’t think “EVE” is sufficient; typing something in all CAPS is not that unusual. Typing “EvE” is more unique and more eye catching, therefore more respectful to the special nature of the EvE universe.

Shocked

Savior Of Eve?

You just lost all credibility with that remark.

You're a false prophet trying to lead this righteous community astray.

Long live EvE...........

How is not spelling, or not representing the proper name of something "more respectful"?
