FIO describe claims of Minmatar-Gallente friction as "absurd"

Gutter Press recently came across a curious story, in which Minmatar assistants on a University of Caille archaeology expedition in Pator were falsifying artifacts to turn a mass grave of victims of inter-tribal warfare into an alleged war-crimes massacre by Imperial forces in the first occupation of Matar.

This indicated that the Minmatar still had much to learn from the wise minds at UoC, regarding honesty and truth in archaeology. It also spoiled the research that the UoC hoped could shed light on tribal societies in the Federation.

Amazing!

When contacting the FIO to establish some facts on this issue, Agent Thoun Gaterau was keen to point out that the FIO did not consider this to be a sign of the Minmatar drifting further from Federal ideals.

The latest anti-Federal rhetoric from Sanmatar Shakor presumably also does not cause the FIO concern.

Incredible.

Agent Gaterau also pointed out, that as a man of culture, he shopped at the Crystal Boulevard, although he did not name any of the boutiques he personally shopped at, presumably because the FIO cannot be seen to officially endorse any particular establishment.

Sensational!

In other news, Tibus Heth was caught by cameras wearing lingerie adorned with Gallente Shield and Eagles.

Scandalous!

Well, one can certainly say unambiguously that this is grave news.

Crystal Boulevard? I would have through that would have been a little bit too mainstream for anyone to visit for clothing these days.

Of course! Where else can I get my overpriced shabby garments to make it look like I don't care when I actually do care, and wear exceptionally large and black-framed glasses when I have perfect vision?

This is the difference between the Gallente and the Minmatar.

The Gallente would say that a battlefield pre-dating Amarr contact, is evidence of inter-tribal warfare.

The Minmatar would say that instead, it is evidence of time-travelling Amarrians abducting innocent civilian Minmatar.

If your jokes are so bad no wonder all your ships are running with a skeleton crew.

This would have anything to do with this, would it?

" The Sanmatar briefly laid out the agenda for the Council, including drafting a new constitution and restructuring the government to move away from what he called 'a well-intentioned but ultimately misapplied, foreign-designed system.' "

Hmmm... casting off a foreign designed system. So is the Minmater Republic going to ditch Gallente template democracy and go back to being the Minmatar Empire? I mean, it's not like the whole "free elections" thing was really working out for them, after all.

I eagerly await more news on this!
