The PR/Marketing BS in that Angry Joe video brings back "fond" memories of the Mass Effect 3 debacle.

That same debacle made me hold off getting this game until I had seen some independent (i.e. not bought) reviews.

Glad I did.

Good games seem to be hard to come by these days. And I have the feeling it will only get worse.

After watching that Angry Joe review.... I've changed my position on this game. I'll pass.

I can handle a game with substandard graphics, to a point, if the single player game play is solid. I'm not overly concern about multi-player, but, if you are going to include it in your game, have some dedicated server support. I rarely have a group of friends just waiting around to play.

If, in the future, the developers update the graphics, overhaul the entire AI, yadda yadda.... then maybe I'll take another look at it.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

Was thinking of buying this week. And holy ****, did the game get bad reviews. Under 50 on metacritic, EVEN lower from users!

While I enjoyed the game, I have to agree that the campaigns are rather short.

I personally think that AvP2 was/is the best overall. I got the new AvP thinking it would be a modern "remake" of the originals.
