Need help, setting up an email acount for office printer to scan

Hi guys, I really need a bit of help. We have an old Ricoh Aficio 2051 multifunctional machine in our office and due to budget cuts we no longer have a valid office email address from which it can scan then email scanned documents to people. This happened yesterday, and knowing how thing works here, Ricoh tech will come in about a week, and I would really like to fix it.

Anyone can recommend a free email service that has a well known SMTP Address plus POP3/IMAP4 port #numbers I can easily input in the office printer? I don´t think regular google or hotmail accounts work on them, but if anyone knows how to set them up please tell me Big smile

TLDR: I need a crap email acount plus sending settings/ports to use to input on our printer. Need SMTP Address using POP3/IMAP4 port numbers, that´s all.

Ohhh turns out, good old google has an awesome smtp server Big smile

So in case you are wondering, and for future reference, any scanner can email scans if you use smtp.google.com with smtp auth enabled to a valid email address via POP3 that will be used as a front Big smile yay!

Keep in mind though that that communication leaving your location and going to Google's will be in plain text. Meaning, anyone sniffing the line will see everything you send. You do have options to use encrypted communication with POP3 and SMTP and I would advise doing so.
