I don't actually subscribe to valentines day, so I wouldn't know. What I DO know is that cynicism in the face of thoughtful optimism is somewhat sad, and the use of pathetic to express it quite ironic. Considering CCP's vastly cynical audience on the forums, I'm not surprised they posted these images on Facebook instead of the forums, where they would have received such an 'articulate' reception. Shame on you for being so dismissive of actual, thoughtful expression of affection simply because you have none of your own, but in spite of your shame, I pity you, because even I, and I have never participated in valentines day and still won't this year, can see the expression that's gone into this instead of the usual corporate money-grubbing that goes on at this time of the year, and APPLAUD CCP for being capable of something that puts them lightyears above any other gaming developer, or even COMPANY IN GENERAL, that I could care to name.

But this time, I'm talking about these. Not sure if everyone has facebook, though, so I uploaded them all to dropbox for the viewing pleasure of non-Facebooking EVE fans. Now, Dropbox appears to have made some changes and that link may or may not work, so I may have to host them somewhere else, so let me know if you can't load them.

The best thing about these is they are actually thoughtful. On a day that always appears to me to be an exercise in commercial ************ (the uncensored version of this word rhymes with procrastination), someone sat down and put some real thought into this and then offered them out for free, and not a single copyright was seen that day. I am frequently stunned by the new ways CCP finds to show up other gaming companies, and this, by far, has to top the charts imho.
