They would do that, if they wanted to kill the game of course.

The first 1-2 years of training is "fun" to do once, not something you want to do again just because some noobs are butthurt over arriving late to the party. If it happend ccp would see a massive drop in subscriptions, and i would probably be one of them.

If you want to experience the "fun" of starting over, delete your character and start a new one.

A reset will only mean that the people who are massively successful today will be even more massively successful after the reset.

He proposed all assets being removed as well, which don't just accumulate naturally over time in the same way as skill points does.

We have already played the game once, and that will most diffidently make a difference, scams and exploits to make isk are known and many will only works once. Others are just not possible, OTEC moon control, T2 BPO cartels, etc.

While a player who is successful today has a greater chance of being it after a reset, just as many will not be because what made them successful no longer exist or is only possible once.

What would appear at first glance to level the playing field would not last long at all. The vets would know exatly what they wanted to do and skill accordingly whilst the newer players do what inexperanced people do when they don't really know what they want to do yet and train skills here there and everywhere. I belive the gap between vets and newer players would grow very quickly. Then what? re-set the server again?

It was "fun" because you were a bright-eyed newbie. Sadly, the bittervet, even freed from his titan and the shackles of structure-based conflict, will still be bitter.

Also, I couldn't even ask you for your stuff... because it would have been "reset" away. Such a pity !

Might set a record for the first time in human history that all players posted to the forums. At once. In different threads. I say do it.
