GSF Calls for an Investigation

Just a few hours ago, pilots from the CFC supporting the rightful ownership of the Minmatar race by the Amarrian Empire, as well as general anarchists, attempted to attack a Tempest Tribal Issue in Eystur. The fleet, lead by our veteran Warr Akini, should have been enough to destroy any ship that can enter high security. (And, if they had been in low security, they would have easily been able to kill a capital warship.)

They all died.

Scans of the aforementioned Tribal Tempests revealed that there was highly advanced technology fitted to those ships. Ships flown by Capsuleers. This technology seems to be similar to that used by CONCORD DED vessels. Technology that should be restricted by treaty to DED only.

We call for an immediate investigation as to how this advanced technology fell into the hands of Minmatar capsuleers. Is CONCORD giving material assistance to the Minmatar fleet in violation of treaty? Should the Amarrians be worried?

Another item of interest is the response time of CONCORD. Warr Akini stated it was much faster than would have been expected for the security status of that system. Did DED abandon or lessen coverage on other systems in the cluster to ensure they would have more support in the Republic? If so, GSF believes this also violates the treaty.

We demand answers.

Maybe you should have brought more ships.

Why didn't you bring more ships?

Clearly you're just really bad at this.

I'm with Andy. I think you were doing it wrong.

Not to mention they are Tempest Tribal Issues. I don't care who you are, but they're tough. There's a reason they're not generally available.

Deal with it.

Verily, this unit assesses the gigawattage output of those vessels to be in excess of to 9*10 to the power of three.

I like how the organisation that murdered thousands of innocent people in its "Burn Jita" terrorist campaign is demanding information for CONCORD.

The OP is mad that some of CONCORD's advanced technology was used on those ships.

I think the goons are too used to having things their way, and when CONCORD and the Matari consider those ships important enough to stick their advanced shield extenders on there, they will.

They didn't want those ships being blown up. Deal with it.

If you can milk it, it's an udder.

Good evening Miss Vea,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Keraimo Hakanuro. I act as Chief Investigating Officer for the Inner Circle's Internal Affairs Department, with the CONCORD Assembly.

I would like to emphasize a few key points before I speak regarding your issue.

First, your friends fired on a member of the government of the Minmatar Republic.
Second, they did this within the Republic's sovereign space.
Third, they did so illegally, under both the Yulai Convention and Republic Law.
Fourth, in retrospect, this was a very foolish thing to do which cost your organization a lot of hardware and a lot of lives.

Now, moving on to your allegations:

The DED had been alerted by the Matari Tribal Council of their intent to have their delegates travel tonight. In fact, we were given over a month of notice. Of course, the DED were not aware of Goonswarm Federation's status as Imperial Loyalists. This will be amended and added to our records.

In the same respect, DED vessels within Heimatar, operating within the bounds of their duties as outlined in the Yulai Convention, were instructed to be vigilant of any disturbances along the routes in question. Their response times to a disturbance of this nature were entirely normal and given your need to complain, were as expected, effective enough to defuse the situation.

With regards to the technology used on board the vessels involved. The CONCORD Assembly is joint funded by all four of the major sovereign powers as a peacekeeping force. The most solid and reliable technologies from all four empires are put to good use to build and maintain our fleet as well as keeping it at the cutting edge of combat capability. Our technologies are created partially from the technologies you saw in use this evening. As a graduate of the School of Applied Knowledge you should know this.

The individuals piloting the vessels in question were capsuleers. On that point you were correct. These capsuleers however are highly trained pilots who have served with the Matari government or military for decades in some instances, and are licensed to use both conventional and prototype military hardware under CONCORD regulation.

It would appear that you are confused as to the political situation, and I'm glad I could clear that up for you. In terms of this evening's events, it's unfortunate that your organization saw fit to attempt to disrupt what was a peaceful gathering to celebrate a long awaited and extremely significant turning point in the Republic.

I have to say that I take personal pride in seeing that justice was served, and seeing that those who stepped out of line were put in their place.

In response to your request - there will be no investigation, and even the thought of such an action is a ridiculous notion. With that in mind, be warned that should your fellow pilots choose to breach the Yulai Convention in future, they will be put firmly in their place again.

Regards,

K.H.

Military experts are calling this a gank failure.

No seriously, for someone who likes to critique everyone's writing, did you miss the point where the announcement on The Scope specifically indicated the vessels would be "heavily fortified?"

ADDENDUM: I would like to note my intense protest that Goonswarm Federation is automatically presumed to be a loyalist entity on behalf of the Amarrian Empire based on the word of a single deranged pilot.
