Anyone have a 10.0 faction standing?

I have seen people with 10.0 corp standings. But has anyone got a 10.0 faction standing, without connections?
If so do you get anything for it? Other then the faction bs bpc from the cosmos mission.

Standings are, for the most part useless. There are few benefits of obtaining standings with more than one corps other than personal interest.

I wish there were benefits, like unique LP store offers, reserved station offices, assembly lines or research slots or even just pins you can stick on your character from the Noble Exchange.

But it all ends with jump clones and POS placement in highsec.

Getting 10.0 faction standing, modified or not, would be is extremely difficult. I'm at 9.2 modified with Amarr (9.0 unmodified) and, apart from the fact that nearly half of all my storylines recently have been Materials for War Prep ( Roll ), any further increases are extremely small.

Back when you could do Concorde missions if you had near 10.0 you could pop people in high sec and just take a sec and standing hit rather than getting insta blapped..... they changed that though... for shame :(

Your reward for 10.0 standings is the fact that you have 10.0 standings.

Due to standing increase mechanics it is impossible to get a +10 standing with either a corp or a faction. You can get very, very close, but an absolute 10 is unachievable.

Agree with you, i wrote similar posts years ago about useless high value standings, 10.00 give nothing, personaly i got 9.98 (pure not modified) to caldari state on main i stop at this value 2 years ago because for me no sense to get 10.00 even i can ( not because lack of reward but because lack of content after 10.00 and empty standing meaning )

Also reward for 9.xx is very low imo even you got 2bpc of faction battleship for it, to reach 9.xx here years of mision runing etc while during this period players may afford a lot isk ot at last they may afford meny faction ships or at last two faction battleship per month just form missions incomes - if somone realy spent a lot time on mission everyday.

Btw i dont care a lot about reward, for me would be cool if 10.00 status open new content or somthing like this, like acces to elite agents - areas etc, even non isk but RPG conternt.

High standings should got more impact on players and game mechanic, after 10 years nothing changes with standing roles and meaning.

You are wrong, since i played eve from 6 years i saw few people with 10.00, when stanings of players were easy to see in character info ( not possible these days) not so much but like 5% or less of these who focusing on hardcore pve - carebearing, call it like you want, got 10.00 faction standing.

I think you need to check on what absolute means. A display value of 10.00 is not too hard as you only need to get 9.995. The last 0.005 to get absolute 10 is unacheivable if you want to be really specic about it.

I remember CCP making a big deal a few years ago about one guy who did actually manage to get 10.0 standing. Don't know if anyone else ever has. That's the kind of useless information you remember when you're a bittervet. Now if only I could remember what I came to the computer for...

he was the 1st to get 10.0 with a faction warfare corp. I have no idea what that entails, or benefits it gives tho.

I think you need to check infinite series. Theoretically speaking, infinite decimals 9.999.... are in mathematics interpreted as 10, and practically speaking, with computers, at some point we run out of bits. That's if you want to be really specific about it.

It would be cool if something was offered for a 10.0 standing.

10.0 standings should give you the opportunity to run for faction leadership, players should be able to be the President Executors, Prime-Ministers, High-Priests, Clan Chiefs of the 4 factions.
