Stretching the EvE client window across multiple monitors

It would really be nice to be able to extend the client window across multiple monitors on the Mac. If anyone knows of a reliable way to do this, please post a reply.

Otherwise. . . . CCP. . . we need a native Mac client way to do this!

Multiple monitors FTW!

You can do this by using SwitchResX. Create a resolution that is the size of both of your monitors combined, restart your Mac, then launch EVE. As long as you aren't creating a resolution with a height of less that 768 pixels, it will show up in the EVE client and you can select that as the resolution. You don't need to buy the software in order to do this, it can be done with the demo, since the resolution won't go away after the demo is up.

Thanks for that info Krispy! That worked great :)

My only remaining issue is. . . . how to get my HUD moved to the left so that my capacitor and modules and such are all in the left window, and not split right down the middle between my 2 screens.

I see the slider in the Display and Graphics tab in EvE that slides the camera, and I've check the box that says it will move the interface as well. . .. but my HUD remains centered and split.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Easily fixed, because you can drag the HUD around anywhere you want. Just left click and hold in the center and you'll see a left/right arrow that pops up and you can drag it back and forth.
