Good times, good times. The trick is just finding the right territory to pirate in. I should look into a stealth bomber.

Stealthbomber is nice for FW missions.
Frigates (all kinds even T1), cruisers and battlecruisers are the low sec bread and butter from what I see.

I remember this one time, on an old character, I tried flipping a can. Oh how well that went, let me tell you. I tip the can, they call in backup (a battle cruiser) I come back in a battle ship, their BC is gone, suddenly, FORCERECONOUTOFNOWHERE. TLDR, he locked me down, ****** up my ****, blew up my uninsured battleship (Didn't realize it was uninsured at the time) and made me feel like both a noob, and a complete ******* ****** who should not be allowed to reproduce. Good times and a learning experience.

If you get a local reptuation for honoring ransoms it's pretty easy to get them ransomed.

HOWEVER the default is for no one to pay a ransom. When you're known as trustworthy though, people will start paying. The problem is to get the trust in the first place when no one will give you a ransom because you have no local rep.

i lulled at this one.
NOBODY [cool] honors ransoms.

From what I understand, the only type of piracy around these days is suicide ganking. Is there a classier, more refined, more monocle way of pirating in EVE? That, you know, involves hiding in backwater systems, evading authority, and trying to NOT die? Rather than "LolI'mdoinganinternet" and suicide for a quick buck. From what I understand, it is a profitable arrangement, but it leaves me... wanting something more refined, like professional piracy. And rum Pirate

Nope, this game isn't like Outlaw star or Cowboy bebop.

It's Docked In Space!

Too bad, if only it were a true space sim instead of the hollow shell of a revenue stream to iceland that it is now.
