Question I have is ; can it be sustained ? Will gate guns just inst-kill you on approach.

Once you hit -10 in HiSec does that seriously limit your chances of moving around ? ( system hopping )

I suppose you can get the aid of a friendly helper to jet frigs or dressies from an Orca ?

Also what would the preferred ship of choice atm ?

thanks

You'd need to ask someone like Solstice Project, the man has an uncanny ability for surviving in highsec while -10.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Gate and station guns don't attack you for being -5.0 sec status (or lower). They attack you when you commit a criminal action and receive GCC. If you can one-shot a pod, you don't have to worry about the gate/station guns.

Yes - you can still move comfortably through highsec at -10. You have to be constantly on the move while in space, because faction police will arrive to destroy your ship. You can't cloak in highsec. If you go to trade hubs, people will try to shoot you.

The ship of choice for this seems to be an artillery thrasher. 280mm artillery, sebos, gyros. You can throw on a warp core stab for the rare occasions when someone is camping a gate for -10 pirates. You can always offline it when you're ready to shoot.

I just saw a -9.6 deimos in a 0.8 yesterday so apparently nothing has changed since I quit in that regard. Anything cruiser size or below should be able to get around pretty well assuming it's the faction navy and not players that you're worried about.

Sentry turrets, as CONCORD, only react to criminal offenses ... so you can ignore them.
Faction Navy will hunt you, but as long as you have a nice set of bookmarks on the grid,
you can just warp around between these and not feel bothered.

Most fun you can have with this is in 1.0, btw. ^_^ warpwarpwarpwarpwarp. :D

Needing help for this from an orca or somebody else who drops you ships will make you look like a noob.

Only thing you need is a 280mm fitted thrasher with depleted uranium s,
a gyro and an instaundocking bookmark from your station.
Add a target painter if you feel like tracking could be an issue.

Cheap t1 fitted thrasher, one shot, enough for all pods.
Add another gyro if you have really crappy turret support skills.

The end.

If you wanna go further down the road, there are cheap(!) fittings that allow you to kill pods out of their shuttles
and light frigates. Cheap thrasher fittings that allow you to even kill haulers solo before the sentry turrets fry your ass
and most of the frigates out there, unless they are bricktanked.

Just try not to use neutral alts to find targets while your -10 hides in station.
That, like above, will make you look like a noob.

Have fun. ^_^
