Couldn't find setting to enable FPS tracking (sorry, I'm a newb) but it was either a few frames per second or a few seconds per frame during the heat of the battle.

No experience with battles of this size.

No problems other than slowness.

It was fun enough that I'll do it again, hopefully knowing what is going on next time!

Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) no idea, since I still don't do mass fleet battles :(
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? nope
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: well done and thx for the BCer rebalance, we really needed that and now all the BCers are much better balanced

next:
no idea, but some modules to buff fighter damage would be a nice idea, since up to now the only means to enchance the fighter/fighter bomber damage was to max out the respective skills

1 client
AA: off
Everything on High except Texture Quality on medium

Average FPS zoomed in (brackets / No brackets) 6 / 7
Average FPS zoomed out (brackets / No brackets) 10 / 13

I would peek over 20 FPS but drop to around 10 on average overall. During warp out the client would freeze. I would get "Not Responding" errors, but after about 2 minutes or so, it would catch up to itself and unfreeze.

I have never been in a fight battle this size, usually around half this amount of players. That said on TQ I rarely get below 40FPS in fleet fights with all settings on high. I'm not sure if this is better or worse compared to what I have seen on TQ as the numbers don't match up.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: TiDi worked better than at the last mass testing(felt less laggy, and more a cool slow down), less lag outside the battle grid. Something odd happened too: while warping out to planet 5 my ship maintained the target locks i had until it was 1,5 AU away. Server worked way smoother than a week ago.

Hi! If you participated in the mass-test on the 12th of February, please reply in this thread to give your feedback, based on following template:

Machine Info and Settings

OS version: 10.7.5
CPU: 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB
RAM: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

- LOD Quality: Low

User Experience

Average FPS during the fight at planet 1 in FD-MLJ, zoomed out (brackets / no brackets): 12 / 5
Average FPS - Zoomed in (brackets / no brackets): 5 / 2
Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome): No fleet experience, bu relative to other mass tests: 6, but at times 1 (see comments)
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? Yes, see comments.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Early in the fight the screen got a grey sheen to it, like when you are in a cloud (but no texture). I could still see ships and the background. It went away in just a few seconds and did not reoccur.

Part way into the fight the frame rate dropped to zero. I was still getting voice, so at some level the client was doing something. I force quit and re-logged.

Later in the fight the frame rate dropped over 30 seconds from 6 to 0.1 then 0.01 (or so, hard to really tell) fps. It happened about the same time as fleet x was first asked to stop fighting and warp off. ( I was in W) This time I waited it out. Eventually the fps came back. I tried to bug report it (and get a screen shot of the fps window) but the fps dropped again to one frame every minute or two. Again it came back (by now the test had been called complete and NPCs were made available). Again I tried to get a bug report in, but again the fps dropped. I was waiting to see if it would give me even one frame, or come back to the point I could complete the bug report when I was called to a meeting. I unplugged the Ethernet cable from my laptop to carry it to the meeting and suddenly realized I had just ruined any chance to finish the bug report with the screen shot. Oddly the client noticed that the connection was gone. During this period of one frame every other minute the client was not frozen, but active at some level, communicating with the server.

The best correlation I can see is these severe drops occurred whenever a large number of ships left the area.

This is a bad bug guys. Please do not let it out.
