Criteria for receiving a Cerebral Accelerator booster

Yes, those who accept your buddy invite will receive the accelerator.

Cerebral Accelerator has allways had damage and rate of fire bonuses in addition to +3 to attributes.

I just got mine, I eat it and it's available for 1 month and 1 day, on the info it says 35 days, probably I need some skills to get the full 35 days.

But that's not important. What's important I finally got id Big smile

It only lasts until your character is 35 days old. So since we got ours late, they will last less time.

Not a big deal to me though, a big thanks to CCP Spitfire for resolving this issue. Smile

Took nearly 48 hours to get my first reply, but it's on the way. Be patient, they will get to you in time. Remember these folks have very recently had to deal with lay offs and departmental consolidation, especially with the customer service GM's that talk to us.

Can anyone clarify for me if the Cerebral Accelerator stacks with any preexisting implants I have. i.e. Accelerator +3 in addition to a set of +3 implants for a +6 total bonus for the first 35 days.

I know that the CE is a booster and as such does not occupy an implant slot, but it seems just a bit too good to be true; and in EVE when you go for something that seems too good to be true you usually end up broke and/or podded Smile.

It stack yes, I got +4 implants and with the +3 accelerator, I got +7 attributes.

P.S. big thanks for the GMs for solving this issue.

Started up a new alt via buddy invite and PLEX because of CCP's new attention to FIS. Activated VIA plex, no accelerator. 2 days now and nada. petitioned through assets/items.

Guess i'll lose that extra few days of accelerated training. yay. X

For what it's worth, I used the buddy invite to myself and got the accelerator just fine when I used paypal to purchase a month game time. I did lose about 4 days because I wasn't aware of the accelerator and I wasn't aware that the trial time stacks with whatever you purchase when you activate.

I'm glad I posted this topic. People being helped and that's cool.

They only work for pilots less than 30 days old. PLEASE read on the module before asking questions about it. Its only worth buying for new characters and you must plug it in immediately after the character is made to get the full benefit.

Also, it isnt worth the cost; you can get +4's for 1/4 the cost of the cerebral. After 30 days, the accelerator will immediately destroy itself.

Still, if you really want it, you can buy it from contracts. Current price is down to 72 mil at Jita.

Also activated using PLEX.

Did not receive Cerebral Accelerator, petitioned, asked to wait 24 hrs in which time I would receive one. Time has elapsed, still no implant. Effectively losing and have lost training efficiency whilst CCP delay on the issue.

Edit: After inquiring further on the petition have now received the implant. However, regardless of how insignificant some may perceive the time involved, there was no mention of recompense for the lost training.

The accelerator adds attribute bonuses in addition to the regular implants. So if you buy your +4's with the accelerator you effectively end up at +7's for this initial period.

We never got an answer if it will continue after the winter expansion Crucible.

Just did the "Power of 2" offer a couple hours ago and paid the regular $50. No isk, no paypal, nothing fancy, just regular cash. I also did not recieve my Cerebral Accelerator. Petition is in & no response yet. Kinda disappointed as my experience up to this point has been Eve was pretty on top of things compared to certain "other" mmo's. Since this appears to be based off my character's life & not the amount of time I've actually had the device I don't have, please fix this asap.
